Very affordable, very well decorated, nice new rooms and new bathrooms. The Inn was beautiful redone. We stayed in the Bostwick room which was on the ground floor with a King bed and has a brand new bathroom. Bob and Renee were very attentive to any requests we had and offered several recommendations for dining that were within walking distance... More

We checked in for two nights at this bed and breakfast and were greeted by two very nice care takers who were extremely helpful. I immediately smelled a strong odor of paint and stain. They have apparently redone the entire place but the fumes were very strong. The first room we stayed in was called the bostwick room. The Windows... More

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. I know you were in town under stressful circumstances and not getting a good night's sleep didn't help. I do want to assure you that the designers did look at that window from all angles and while it may seem that someone could see in, they cannot. The window was... More

we arrived quite late at the night and bob still waiting for us,very warm welcome .super comfortable bed took the tired away.must have the breakfast ,taste amazing .when we leave ,Rene even repaired water and soda for take away.beautiful house and wonderful service.

My husband and I were looking for an affordable weekend getaway not too far from NYC with another couple. We stumbled upon The Homestead Inn and booked the Newton and Horowitz rooms. Both were lovely. (The Newton is small, with a shower in the room, but the price was right!!!) The Inn was recently renovated and it was super clean,... More

I absolutely LOVE this B & B. It was my first time staying in one, and travelling alone, so it was very important to feel safe and in a clean place. I stayed in the Newton Room which was absolutely adorable and perfect for me. Renee and Bob were so friendly and gracious. They made my stay so much more... More

We visited the Homestead Inn as a weekend get-a-way for a birthday celebration. Bob and Renee were fantastic and the Inn was beautiful. We stayed in the Marilyn Monroe room and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We will definitely return when we are in the area!

Hey Matt, Renee here. It was so fun for Bob and I to watch your surprise birthday weekend play out and we loved seeing how Debbie took advantage of all the awesome stuff there is to do in the area, especially the cooking class. I'm glad you enjoyed your stay at the inn and the Monroe Suite. Thanks for letting... More

Very, very clean, comfortable beds, excellent breakfast- ask for the croissant french toast. Very friendly inn-keepers. We hope to return to this charming place in the near future. We stayed in the "Boardroom" in the main house.

Unforeseen last minute plans brought us to the Inn for just one night. The location was perfect and nearby to all we needed to visit during our stay. Innkeepers, Bob and Renee greeted us upon arrival and were very helpful in providing us with recommendations for dining during our brief stay. We stayed in one of the Treadwell Inn rooms... More

We were able to stay only one night. Inn keepers, Bob and Renee Hodges were friendly, courteous, thoughtful and just a delight. His breakfast "special", Eggs Benedict, were delicious to say the least. Renee's tour of this wonderful house was totally enjoyed by us. We joined my sister Ginny who was our suite partner in the little house room! (Ginny... More

Art, you're making me blush. The pleasure was indeed all mine. It was nice having someone so interested in the "long version" of the history tour! It made me smile reading your name for the cottage of the "little house room". It shall now always be that in my mind☺I'm sorry that the reason for your visit wasn't great, but... More

I used to stay at the Homestead before the renovations, and always had a great experience. After they closed for a bit, I was pretty sad. As soon as I found out that they reopened, got a room there immediately. What can I say, they did an amazing job renovating!!!!! The rooms look incredible, very cozy. They also kept the... More
