Great location; walk to theaters, Yale, and copious restaurants. The rooms were of good size, well appointed, and arranged. The bathroom was a bit perplexing. The sink counter seemed high. The towel bar was centered at the sink. This made for very challenging shaving. The shower base was straight from the 1990s, small with a curtain that required the spray...

What a great hotel right downtown, and very easily within walking distance to the Yale campus. Leave your car in the free parking spot right across the street, no need for a cab or public transportation. We will be back again, a great hotel for the $119.00 price.

Newly renovated, the entire building felt clean, updated and comfortable. Great location for visiting Yale. The business center was large and new. Reason for a poor rating? We were given a room on the third floor in the back facing a brick wall (actually a tall brick building) that was less than two feet away. VERY claustrophobic feeling with almost...

The hotel is beautiful. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a great experience and would recommend a stay here. It's newly renovated, rooms are not especially charming but modern and functional.

My family arrived at the hotel at 9pm. We had purchased our room through Orbtiz and the hotel did not have any record of our reservation despite my confirmation email I received from Orbitz. The hotel found a room for us anyway and honored our reservation and said they will call Orbitz. So far, we were impressed. We were given...

Spent the night at this hotel to check out New Haven. It was a really central location to most of what the city has to offer. Walking distance to Yale, Franks Pizza, and the bars and restaurants downtown. The hotel decor was sleek and modern, filled with local artwork and providing free wifi. The room was clean & comfortable, but...

We stayed here one night after driving in a snow storm from NYC. The desk clerk was very pleasant and put us in a nice big handicap accessible room. The bed was comfy, the bathroom had 2 sinks, it was quiet and comfy. The only noise came from the bathroom fan and the heater when it cycled on....even on low...

We only stayed here one night but were very pleased. It is an old hotel that has been beautifully renovated. The room was comfortable and very clean. There is breakfast at an extra cost but we did not take advantage of that. There are plenty of restaurants near by. Check in was easy and friendly. Parking is right across the...

I had a wonderful stay in New Haven this week. The staff were friendly, my room was spacious and comfortable. The atmosphere was very welcoming thanks to the staff and renovation. I arrived at the hotel before check-in time, hoping to drop my bags and was very pleased to find that my room was ready. Thanks!
