Nice classic hotel, located in New Haven by Yale University. Close to restaurants and beautiful Yale campus. Hotel has small Bistro bar, clean rooms and large bathroom. Easy access to highways, parking was easy.

I was puzzled at first as to why the doors get locked at nighttime. But, now I am glad they do that. During the day time, this is a great location with nice shops and restaurants nearby. Quick stroll to campus. Nice restaurant/bar area

It's the closest hotel to the majority of campus--an easy five-minute walk to most of the main academic and residential buildings. The lobby is nice, with attractive food and beverage areas, and the fitness room is solid. The rooms are good but not great--clean and spacious enough, without being luxurious. The street noise can be an issue at night, but...

Hotel was a little older but very well kept and you really can't beat it's convenience! The room was quiet and very clean and well suited for a one night stay. The breakfast wasn't free but it was good and we appreciated the Starbuck's coffee.

Stayed here on business earlier this month for a night. I enjoy staying at the Marriott brand hotels and this place did not disappoint. Had a great nights sleep. The front desk staff was very helpful with check in and providing local restaurant recommendations.

Very convenient location, close to stores and restaurants, nice hotel and staff, I arrived earlier and my room was ready. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with sofa, and wide screen TV. Free WiFi. Great breakfast.

I am a Marriott member and the staff was super cool. The gentleman who tended the Bistro during the evenings who said he was from St. Lucia was very nice and pleasant. I asked to checkout late because I was a member. They accommodated me with no problem, and then there was Michelle, who was at the check-in/check-out counter as...

The location is great, just next to campus life. The hotel is clean and quiet; staff is friendly. It was my first time in New Haven, and I was not sure what to expect. The campus and just around the campus is beautiful. Stayed at the hotel for two nights and spent minimal time there, but it was relaxing, and...

The customer service in this hotel is pathetic. Our travel agent made a mistake in our reservation and forgot to book breakfast. The personnel invested absolutely zero effort in trying to solve it. Moreover, they refused to communicate with our agent directly, asking me to be the intermediary. This would have been fine though, if not the unpleasant surprise of...

This is a very convenient hotel to Yale. However the hotel is old and tired and needs a little TLC. Parking is a joke for $20 a day. Somebody backed into my car and didn't leave a note. I don't have anymore to say but this stupid site requires 200 words
