An older box-style building converted to a Courtyard (with no courtyard) Location is great for Yale access. Large lobby has had a facelift and is inviting. Room updated long ago - no USB, poor sheets/pillows, small bathroom poorly remodeled Room came with earplugs and apology

Convenient location, nice big comfortable room. Breakfast is not included but decent food available on-site. There’s also a breakfast diner and pizzeria right next door. Close to shopping and good restaurants. Desk staff friendly and helpful.

The hotel itself is nice, thats a plus. The rooms are clean and new. The neighborhood sucks and is super noisy. And it would have been nice to know ahead of time that they charge $25 to park your car. I was really surprised that wouldn’t be included.

The hotel is located on the fringes of the spread-out Yale campus. From my room on the second floor, you heard all the street noise quite clearly, from the booming car stereos to the multiple emergency vehicle sirens that occurred more frequently than one would expect. There

Hello GB2016a, Thank you for taking the time out to review our hotel. We are extremely sorry that noise caused by outside disturbances negatively effected your stay. Of course your prime reason for staying with us is to get a good night's rest of which you were unable to get this time around. I hope you will reconsider staying with us again so we may provide you with better services next time around. Regards, Emilio M.

We stayed at the hotel from March 6 to 8, 2019. The rooms are not large. Bathroom is very crowded. Good thing is - it is very close to Yale University. For business travellers, the location is good. Restaurant is average.

What is the neighbourhood like? We will be on foot, visiting Yale.
Little late in answering this, but I will give it a try. I stay at this hotel 2-3 times a month for work. I do not have a problem walking around at night in New Haven in the area of the hotel. I dont have a car so I walk to most places or take Uber if further than a mile or so. With that being said, I would not go out of the hotel an walk to the left. Most of what you would want to do is to the right of the hotel anyway. The food, sites on campus to see etc. I do not have any knowledge of the New Haven, but the Omni is located more around the restaurants etc and many of my co workers stay there also.
