Poor service, awful sauces with appetizers... horse radish with fries? ....and with bread??? No thanks. Was also overpriced. We don't mind overpaying if it is good, but this wasn't. Not a good environment

If you have to stay over in New Haven, which may or may not be a good thing, this is a wonderful hotel in the best part of the city. Several great restaurants and bars within a safe walking distance. Staff at The Study is polite and responsive. Décor is modern and comfortable. Food at the lobby restaurant, Heirloom, is...

This is a perfect choice for a stay in New Haven. It's just by the Yale Rep, the Center for British Art and the university. Plus, there are many good dining choices a stone's throw away. Rooms are large, clean and very bright with fabulous working spaces. The small exercise room has what you need and it's just delightful to...

The Study had been "talked up" to me by a friend who had stayed here years ago and had a wonderful experience. I went with high hopes and was excited to stay here. Almost all of my expectations were met. The room was beautifully modern and fresh in every way. Ours included a small study room with two comfy chairs...

Best place to stay in the city. Great location and convenient to Yale. A hip place to stay in a town without other great hotels. Close to restaurants, shops, Yale Rep and the museum of art. Good restaurant and brunch at the hotel as well.

Unfortunately, our stay did not live up to our expectations and we are so disappointing that we will look for alternative hotels for future stays in New Haven. We had stayed at this hotel once in the past and enjoyed it enough to book again. In town for Thanksgiving Day with family, we checked in and dropped our bags at...

I was a little unnerved by New Haven itself; a fair amount of police presence and panic boxes, but perhaps that's because I live in a relatively safe, small city and I am not used to the vibe. The Study was a real haven. It is quiet and very comfortable. The staff were lovely. I stayed for 6 nights and...

This hotel is lovely with great amenities, nice restaurant, gym, and lobby. Front staff were so kind and accommodating. Housekeeping services were poor, we didn't get complete services each of the 3 nights we were there - no soap, faceclothes, shampoo & didn't remove dirty dishes. As well it was noisy, we were situated facing the back with no warning...

The Study at Yale is an experience that I've enjoyed many times ... I love the rooms that overlook the Yale campus, which transports you to Hogwarts (I think) :) Ambiance ... the proximity to Yale is spot on, at the end of one of the main arteries for Yale with all the types of food you may wish to...

I travel to New Haven frequently and this is my choice for a place to stay. It is located essentially on campus, a block from the Old Campus. The rooms are spacious with a study area, not unlike a college room. The staff are quick to cooperate with one another to help with baggage, valet parking, and directions. There is...
