My husband and I stayed 3 nights here while we were in the area for a friend's wedding. It's a beautiful inn in an equally beautiful setting. Delicious breakfast, too. It seems a little pricey at first but especially in comparison to other big chain hotels in the area, it's actually a great value. Would definitely stay here again.

Quiet location...walk into Mystic or the Seaport Museum...very handy. Room was perfectly comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious! Spend a few hours on the front porch just enjoying the ambience of the town, listen for the bridge opening or closing-smell the wonderful flowers...just a lovely place to spend time. Save room for the delicious snacks provided in the main room-and I mean DELICIOUS!!!!!

We arrived late afternoon and let ourselves in with the key provided. At all other times Josephine was available and looked after us with a non-stop supply of cookies and cakes, helpful advice and even a goodie bag to depart with. Ooops almost forgot to mention the fine Cognac provided in the room! The house is conveniently located with an easy walk into Mystic, local restaurants and the maritime museum. Our bedroom was comfortable and spotlessly clean and we enjoyed freshly prepared breakfasts made to order. We were made very welcome and enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others.

A beautiful historic property that is well cared for by Josephine. Rooms are a delight and breakfast is just right. A wonderful location that is close to everything with an easy walk. Parking on site. As a child my wife spent considerable time in this house as it was her paternal grand parents' house. The return trip was very nostalgic and delightful!
