This is a great inn in the perfect location to explore all that Mystic has to offer. We stayed in the Hoxie House, and our room was spacious, charming, clean, and nicely appointed. Very comfortable stay. Had some conversations with the manager of the inn, and we know there will be some exciting things in store for The Whaler's Inn...

Excellent location, good room with a lovely bathroom. Good wifi! The breakfast could have been a little better, but it was functional. The only negative was that the staff were not as overly friendly as we had experienced in other hotels - not bad, just not as good. Would i stay here again - yes, absolutely!!

We arrived early for our room, expecting it not to be ready but interested in knowing the best places to visit during our overnight stay in Mystic. We were not greeted with any warmth but given a map to either go over the bridge into town or over to the aquarium. I have to say our room was lovely. There...

Thank you for taking the time to review the Inn. While I am glad to hear that overall you enjoyed your time in Mystic I want to sincerely apologize if you were not greeted with a warm Mystic welcome. That is not our norm and our warmth and customer service are aspects that we pride ourselves upon. We have received...

A lovely, warm welcome to start with. The room big and spacious, immaculately clean with a whopping big bathroom. Free cookies and coffee down stairs in the morning, yes please! Our room overlooked the river, it was stupendous!

We stayed at the Whaler's Inn this past week for an overnight at the end of a vacation. Very smooth check in, following an email earlier in the week from the Inn to confirm. Nice room in the main building - modern bathroom, quaint furnishings, lots of light. We liked the location very much - right in the center of...

How can they get away with charging 225 a night for this crappy room! People, refuse! No romance happening in this disgusting room! Smelly, Lord air conditioner, awful out of date decor. I feel like I'm in a horror movie. Run

Thank you for taking the time to review the Inn. I apologize if you were unhappy with your room. Please know that we work very hard to ensure that our rates are competitive with other hotels in the Mystic area, which are located further outside of town. Oftentimes with last minute reservations, such as yours, we are unable to provide...

Quaint rooms, its in the middle of restaurants and little shops. Staff is friendly and they offer free breakfast. I'd visit again. Good sea food restaurants located around the hotel. Clean and comfortable we were pleased.

We stayed in the Hoxie House at the Whaler's Inn for the Mystic Art festival. The room was absolutely gorgeous - spacious, comfortable, well-appointed. We had a great view of the river, bridge, and festival-goers. The room was full of small amenities that made it a perfect escape from the crowds after a busy day. Comfortable bed, enormous jetted tub,...

We stayed at The Whaler's Inn for seven days, and we enjoyed every moment of our time there. Our room was in the 1865 house which was a wonderful location for us. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch and in the plastic Adirondack chairs on the front lawn, watching tourists and locals walking by with their dogs. Mystic is...

Thank you for your continued patronage. As you mentioned we are under new ownership and some small changes have been made, but we continue to strive to offer the same friendly personal service as we always have. I am not sure exactly when you stayed, but we have recently completely re-done our wireless internet for higher speeds and more reliability....

We've been coming to The Whaler's Inn for many years and were surprised to be told upon check-in, by a new but friendly face, that there were new owners. I was happy to also see familiar faces in the staff at various shifts. That is smart, as the people there have always been an incredible asset. The room was comfy...

It is so lovely to have guests that come back and visit us year after year. Yes, we have changed ownership, but continue to strive to provide excellent customer service and clean, well appointed rooms. In regards to the continental breakfast; it does sound as if you visited us when our food vendor had recalled our the hard boiled eggs...
