It is exactly what it claims to be. Nothing special or fancy but then when the prices are this good what do you expect. I was pleasantly surprised at how clean it all seemed and how super friendly the reception staff were. It's not the...More
I wanted to give Motel 6 another shot. For one, there aren't many options in Mliford where you can bring a pet. But last time the AC didn't work (at all) in my room and there weren't any more rooms left. This wasn't even told...More
We could not drive anymore in torrential downpour with bad tires. Pulled over to Motel 6. Excellent rate very very clean great rooms microwaves refrigerator smells clean and they allow animals. We live 2 hours away and would come back just for a quiet getaway

It's about a 2 mile walk (or taxi ride) to the station at Milford where you can get trains to upper Manhattan, they take about 2 hours. You would then need to get Transit down to lower Manhattan by subway, probably from Harlem, so probs 2 trains, so would take best part of 3 hours by public transport I would think. I should however point out that I don't live in the USA, this was just research I did about getting to NYC
