Pool was closed even after specifically asking if it was open during booking 4 days prior to arrival. Complimentary continental breakfast cost $11.95/room and trying to get more towels was a struggle in itself. Not a staff issue but they stated it was a towel shortage at the hotel????

Stayed for 3 nights and everything was great. Staff was always smiling and asking how everything was. The on-site restaurant was great and served breakfast and dinner each day. Room was very spacious and quiet could not hear any of my neighbors. This is definitely my go to hotel when in the area!

My wife and I stayed at this hotel when we were visiting a longtime friend of my wife's who was in rehab from a medical problem.
Our room was on the 4th floor and it was very quiet. Sleeping was very good !!
This was our first stay at a Hilton Gardens Inn and the breakfast system was new to us. We have always utilized Hampton Inns. The price is very steep at $18.00 a person for breakfast. The price included most of the things that you might want especially a chef to cook an omelet at your request. You can get a discount with membership in the Hilton Honors Club. We did see some confusion as people realized what the person cost of breakfast would be. I can see the need for some change of the existing system
Our experience was that the hotel was clean and the staff was very good.
We had some available time to do other things. We found found Woodmont Beach which has a nice wide walking way along the beautiful beach. WE took several walks in this very beautiful area of Milford.

The lobby was very nice which gave me a good first impression.
Stayed one night and reserved a standard King Bed room. Check in was a breeze at 8:30 pm but, I wish I was told the location of the room so I could pay for an upgrade.
I guess they don’t do that. Well the room we got was right across the pool/gym.
And on a Saturday night the pool was packed with kids and loud as it could be. I didn’t go to the front desk to change the room because I knew that once the pool was going to close that would be it.
Thank goodness that was the case around 11pm.
The room itself was clean but very outdated.
The bed was comfy but the pillows could be replaced.
The bathroom was very small and the outside of the shower was not as clean as it could be.

This was one of the most run down and disgusting Hilton properties that I’ve ever stayed in… like ever! I have exclusively only used Hilton brand hotels since 2014 and can make this assessment pretty fairly I believe.
I confirmed with the property, online, over the phone, and in person regarding the availability of the heated pool. However, upon arriving the pool was 50 degrees and I was told only maintenance had the key and left for the day. So I put a request in for them to turn it on next day… mind you I’m on a business trip and wanted to return to the hotel for a relaxing swim… still no heat.
The front desk staff is wonderful, unfortunately there’s not much they can do about the dilapidation of the property. The first room they put me in had cigarette burns in the carpet, torn carpet, entire threads of carpet missing, and a large 4”x3” burn all the way down to the under fibers of the carpet. Upon opening the bathroom I’m tear-gassed in the face with a bleach smell so strong that in my 30 sec potty break in there my eyes began burning and watering, my nose running, and my throat started to hurt….. so they changed my room… this one has what I can only describe as either icing or a biological (I.e spit or semen) stains on the carpet. It’s not even just a stain it’s a Still sitting on top of the carpet and partially soaked in and partially dried on top of the carpet. I requested either a full refund so I can go to a DoubleTree or for them to shampoo my carpets while I was working today…. Neither was done, they offered one night refund… which doesn’t even help me. I’m on a company trip so refunding me doesn’t make things better for me… my employer sure… but the intent of a full refund was so I could take my business elsewhere and be comfortable and clean and sanitary…. Oh and also no one came and removed the biological and/or icing contaminant.
The elevator door screeches closed and I almost jumped off from the sounds it was making. I even checked the safe certificate that’s how badly it sounded and would worry you. Not to mention the rust on the inside car of the elevator and rust on the bathroom vanity lights… someone shared with me that this hotel isn’t even that old yet… so the run down carelessness of this property is truly sad to witness.
Hilton Corporate: Do better…. :/

Very dirty elevator, halls, rooms- mine had visible mold , light fixtures in bathroom rusted and dirty. They do not bring towels, toilet paper or garbage bags to room, no cleaning services during stay.
The nice man who makes breakfast was only good thing at this hotel.

Was denied checking out at 3:00 pm and charged for the extra night. Paid for room I did not use. The Front desk associate said they could not re-sell that room and insisted on charging me full rate for a room I did not use.

Dear Valued Guest, I apologize that we did not have the availability to to have you check out during check in time. Apart of the Hilton Promise, is if the room is not ready by 3pm upon arrival it is a complimentary night. Our typical check out time is noon. We also have a location to store your luggage. I hope you consider staying with us again. Sincerely, Elizabeth

This was a last minute choice after a horrible hotel stay across town and the Hilton redeemed my visit to CT.
Some notes:
• Good location. Near Ale House. A few minutes drive or 15 min walk to Walmart, Dave and Busters, Stop and Shop. Close to Cracker Barrel (I opted out of the $18 hotel breakfast), short drive to Milford Green, or the Pez Center in Orange, CT.
• The room had a deadbolt lock, also blackout curtains which was a plus for light sensitive sleepers. Was able to control the thermostat.
• A room clean and linen change is available upon request if staying more than a couple days.
• Available utensils (plasticware and paper plates and napkins) by the front desk
• Complimentary cookies at the front desk
• The TV connection in back of the television was loose, which would disrupt service when swiveling the TV but nothing too major.
Overall a good stay.

We stayed in this hotel overnight on a trip to Maine, and maybe it was the stark contrast between this and other Hilton properties we stayed in, but our impression was not very favorable. It is an older hotel, so all noises can be heard. We also had children, aged 10-13ish running up and down the hall like a stampede of cattle for a couple of hours, off and on. It took opening the door, and giving them my best “mom” look to get them to stop. We left the fan running on the a/c as white noise, which seemed to help with the lack of good insulation. This hotel is still doing the cold breakfast, with breakfast bars and muffins (separately wrapped) in big bowls for everyone to grab from. We personally wouldn’t choose this hotel again, with so many other places available to stay.

Great question! Our shuttle goes within 5 miles of our hotel. Such as the mall, restaurants, Target etc. It also travels to and from Tweed Airport on a route.
Just food. In the United States it is just food. Outside the United States it is Food and Beverage per Hiltons policy.
No, and read my review! Stay away! This place has some serious safety issues!
Only for service animals.
No hot tub due to ADA restrictions and yes made to order breakfast! All you can eat!
