Stayed here and was disappointed that you couldn't use the pool unless you paid for the spa. Rooms were good and clean. Staff were kind and polite. Housekeeping was great if you needed extra towels they had no problem accommodating you.

We stayed one night at The FoxTower because we were going to a concert at The Premier Theater inside Foxwoods. It was great to walk back to our room after the show instead of having to drive to a hotel, take a shuttle or Uber. Everyone we dealt with at The Fox Tower was friendly, polite and professional. We used the vallet parking when we arrived and it was easy & fast. The check in was also super fast. We were on the 20th floor and had a great view. The room was very quite and we heard nothing all night long. We got a great nights sleep. The bed & pillows were awesome. I slept till 9AM and normally I can't sleep past 7AM. The walk in shower has a duel head, great water pressure and never ran out of hot water. There are 2 grip bars in the shower. The mini frig was already on when we got there and worked great. The Fox Twer was super clean. Leaving with the Vallet took less than 5 minutes. We will return to The FoxTower. BONUS: My wife likes to shop. I hate shopping. As we walked through the Tanger Outlets I saw a Levi's store. I have been buying the same style of Levi jeans for many many years and they are hard to find. I walked in and asked if they had the style I wanted and the friendly women there said they did not carry them in the store. As I turned to walk out she said she could order them for me and all jeans are 40% off and free shipping. I bought 2 pairs of jeans. By the time I got home the next day I got an email they had shipped.

This was our first time staying at Foxwoods. Spent three nights there at the Fox Tower, and upgraded our room to a small suite. The room itself was just fine and even lower in price that other casinos we have stayed at.

With that said, there are a few things I’d like to comment on. First being their Wifi. It totally sucks. We could only connect to it in our room if we were standing by the toilet. Not an ideal location for checking your phone.

While the Fox Tower was nice, it is further away from the larger casino areas and most restaurants. As an example, the Hard Rock Café is probably the furthest from Fox Tower, so it was a 10-15 minute walk at a good pace. Fine if you’re looking to burn some calories, but if walking is more difficult for you, perhaps one of the other hotels would be better.

The restaurants at Foxwoods are very limited at this time. Some have closed, some are on limited days/hours. Most do not even have the days/times posted outside so you can plan ahead. We were there during the week, so maybe things are better if you’re there on a weekend. Just don’t know.

Lastly, I would like to comment on housekeeping. Because of the pandemic, we have gotten used to limited housekeeping services. If we’re only staying 2 or 3 nights we prefer not to have our room serviced. When checking in on Tuesday, we inquired about this, and the front desk gave us a “do not disturb” sign. We were assured that if the sign was hanging on the door that no one from the hotel would enter the room. Wednesday afternoon I happened to be in the room when housekeeping showed up ready to clean. I said we didn’t need the service and point out the sign to emphasize the point. They seemed a little put-off and shocked that I would feel this way, but left. Thursday afternoon when we returned to the room, it has been cleaned, even though the sign was still on the door. Now I know that most people would only complain if their room wasn’t being cleaned. But when you really don’t want anyone in your room and they enter anyway, it’s upsetting. I think the front desk and housekeeping need to communicate better on how this is handled.

My husband is in a wheelchair, so we book handicapped rooms. Many problems.
1) Bed is 37 linches high. This is not a problem, probably a blessing for someone able bodied, but makes for a dangerous transfer from a wheelchair.
2) Roll in shower has no bench or shower chair. Really?? If a person needs a wheelchair to get around, it is not a stretch to think they would need something in shower. Took 3 hours, then a self trip to Walgreens to obtain something safe.
3) The door jams are marble and 3/4 of an inch high. The momentum needed to get over them in a wheelchair is unsafe and eliminates I independence.
4) Furniture is large and heavy, difficult to get by in wheelchair.
5) in order to swim at our hotel we would have to pay an additional 25.00, even though we were hotel guests. We could have used the pool in other hotel for free, again the wheelchair. Can’t shuttle with that.
We left at 12:00am because of the difficulties. Not how I had planned to spend the week

Had been to Foxwoods a few times and previously have stayed at what used to be the MGM and is now The Fox Tower. The Foxwoods complex is very large so be prepared to walk especially if looking for restaurants in the other premise’s hotels.

The Fox Tower is very nice throughout and the room was clean and comfortable. I like shower only in the rooms which this had.

There are plenty of food choices throughout including the Rainmaker Buffet (great for breakfast) and Guy Fieri’s Foxwoods Kitchen + Bar (good food).

But here was the problem – instances of bad service. The blackjack dealer I played with would barely interact. Check-in greeting was not existent and just took my name and credit card. I had to ask about a $20 food credit that was part of the room and confirmed I can use it on the property. However, despite “Foxwoods” in the name and the fact you can pay with your Player’s Card, they say they are not affiliated with the hotel and could not charge the meal to the room. So, I spoke to a manager and was treated more rudely than I ever remember at a restaurant. He balled up the bill and WITH INSULTS ask me to leave the restaurant for “whining” about $20. I was in shock.

Despite the room cost being less than Mohegan Sun, it was not worth it. Service is critical and they failed. A 5-star review turns into a 2 for the poor service.

I specifically booked this hotel to celebrate sisters bachelorette (which hello is going to be excited women) and asked the hotel permission they told me yes and documented to have two rooms across from each other. They told me enjoy yourselves and have a great time but then put a family who was just trying to sleep next to our room on a weekend. This man called security on my room twice and almost had our night ruined they threatened to charge me $500 fine for noise policy but it’s a casino hotel near night clubs and bars and I asked for permission to avoid people going home drunk I booked two rooms. No other guests complained other than this man. I do not recommend for these types of events or even bday celebrations. There was birthday party down the hall and they were just as loud and they kept confusing both of our events. We did respectfully vacate the room to go to the club but I feel if they had strict rules they should’ve mentioned that prior to booking and documenting in system. They ruined everything.

My husband and I stay at Fox Tower quite a bit especially because we like to use the pool spa and sauna for an hour or two even though it costs us an extra $50 if we don’t get a service. We were looking forward to a special get-away. My husband had toe surgery and he needed a knee scooter to get around. It was our first trip since the surgery. We get to the spa and we were told we can only use the pool etc. if we book a service. No one was in the pool. Two people were in the chairs. No one offered to call the spa at Great Pequot. Very rude. I called the main Norwich spa and they did nothing for us. We did not want a service. We wanted to go in the pool and hot tub for a short while.

We schlepped all the way to the other spa which is quite far away especially for someone who is disabled. We were able to use the pool there at a cost of $30 with a number of screeching kids in it. So much for a special day. Then my husband had to go all the way back to a Fox Tower.

I put a complaint on Trip Advisor on the spa and was told we couldn’t use the pool because they ran out of towels!!! What kind of spa runs out of towels at 1:00 pm. We could have gotten some from our room. Not sure if I’ll ever book Fox Tower again. The spa is supposed to be one of your amenities and we couldn’t use it.

Booked room in advance for birthday. Called guest services few days prior to confirm, bingo, late check out and make dinner reservations. Arrived, no bingo, we understand because of snow. at 10am we called and they said evening session was on. Colleen at front desk told me to google map of place when I asked a question since our plans changed , restaurant was closed and said there was no checkout due to we don’t have staff and are closing hotel at 11 am. I asked to be moved to another one of your hotels that were staying open and she told me she couldn’t do that.
When we got to room, Opened room, smelled of cigar smoke and bathroom sink was backed up - , very unsanitary conditions., specifically during COVID. Called first Operator said I could pay substantially more for a new room or she could send maintenance, explained I have asthma and she said she couldn’t help. I called front desk and explained situation, manager on duty offered to change rooms. We did and new room was much better as no smell and facilities worked. However new room was dusty and had mold on curtains.
The misrepresentation of information combined with poor customer service ruined our entire birthday celebration. I have pictures of mold in second room and original assigned room.

I had called ahead of time to ask if the rooms were wheelchair accessible, and was told they were, but I was met with the opposite. The bathrooms in the room I stayed in were terribly small, my wheelchair barely fit! There’s no grab bars anywhere, I had to rely on a friend to help me, and I’m a very independent person. The beds are also wayyyy to high up, to the point where I almost fell forwards trying to stand myself up to sit on them.

We are here at Fox Tower for a competitive dance competition…a reason like this is the ONLY reason we would ever come back!! To say it’s less than customer friendly here would be a major understatement…and I’m not happy to say this. Currently…in spite of Covid restrictions having been lifted…many places are not open…and if they are technically open, it is generally for severely reduced hours. To illustrate…there is nothing open for a quick lunch today…Monday…and in-room dining is only available on weekends (until noon on Monday actually)…you cannot reach the front desk or order towels, etc …the phone just keeps ringing…the rooms are not in good shape…short on linens, furniture badly marred and/or broken…the whole of Fox Tower is just generally dismal right now.
We have friends staying in Grand Pequot…the room there, while newer I think, is not in good shape either. Everything is clean enough…period!
I cannot fathom why people continue to come up here if they don’t have to…if you do come, remember to bring some food….even if in-room in this tower had been open, the menu is very limited and all pre-packaged.
