Just checked into to Foxwoods Tower. They sent me to smoke filled room, which obviously wasn’t checked by QC. Called my “customer care agent” who said I would have to come back down to front desk to get another room/key. I asked if they could bring the key to me. She said no. No sorry, no offer of bellhop for bags. I had to lug my two 40 lb bags 1/4 mile back to front desk. All the hotel Mgr could offer was “we usually send bellhop up”. Pathetic customer service.

Thank goodness we didn't pay more than $150/nt. The rooms are clean but so outdated. The iron didn't work, the ironing board was broken, and almost nothing was open throughout the entire hotel/casino. Most things are ONLY open on the weekend. Foxwoods is now officially a ghost town! We made the most of it but certainly will NEVER pay the $800-1000/nt for the weekends.

This used to be a premier hotel but it is has slipped a bit. We stayed in a Director's Suite on the 17th floor. The room was clean as was the lobby and casino but everything was a bit worn. Some of furniture like the desk need some touch ups. One of the sinks had a leak and the shower drain seemed slow. I blame part of the slip on COVID, not anyone's fault. But some of things like leaky sinks and slow drain should be addressed. I still like this hotel and will stay here again.

So sad these casino resorts are used and abused. There is no natural airflow throughout the entire building. There were so many terrible smells it was unbelievable. Especially inside the suite. It was a mixed smell of cigarettes, mold & mildew. I honestly could not breathe. We paid for the most expensive suite and it was dirty. The shower floor was lopsided and leaked through the doorway soaking into the carpet in the other room. The refrigerator motor was very loud and woke me up every hour with a noisy knocking sound. I did not want to sit down. I did not want to touch anything. At least there was the pool to be excited about? No. Absolutely not. Looking down from one of the highest rooms of the FOX TOWER -the cement surrounding the pool itself, looked disgusting. Stains from who knows what, probably food and drinks. The pool was packed with people. Mostly toddlers and children. The water was so cloudy & murky, there’s no way in hell I’d be getting in that. This stay was supposed to rekindle my relationship. It pretty much put the fork in it. We left at 5am the next morning. I stayed at this hotel 20 years ago and it was absolutely stunning back then. Now I wouldn’t go if you paid me 5 grand I wouldn’t go. Maybe 10 grand but that’s still not enough to deal with the place.

We stayed at the Fox Tower at the Foxwoods Casino Connecticut on April 7 to April 8. Were on the ninth floor in our room was very nice our overall experience with the hotel check-in was also great. I do have a few issues that are not terrible but enough that there slightly irritating. From the parking garage for the Fox Tower to the main entrance the stairs and the convenience of the location is terrible, the Fox Tower parking garage stairways of dirty and in rough condition. And I'm talking about the one directly across the street from the main entrance of the hotel check-in. You can use the elevators that crossover a bridge that bring you to one of the casino floors, make your way through crowds of people along storefronts and around a couple corners to get to the main entrance/lobby check-in, however I think that's a bit inconvenient. I'm not sure why they don't have an additional elevator located right near the main entrance, and at the very least at least do some maintenance work on the stair way in that area. This also brings me to the next topic. In order to get your luggage on the Fox parking garage to your room without using stairs you must use the garage elevator and go through that gaming floor and several storefronts just to get to the elevators of the Fox Tower of course they are not going to change this because of the way the structures built, I think it's a poor design. The elevators should be easily accessible directly from the lobby/check-in and not have to go past gaming areas and storefronts while toting luggage and other stuff to your room. Aside from that we were very happy with the room it was clean nice comfortable and conveniently located to some of the entertainment restaurants and gaming. we would stay again it is a nice hotel.

Have to agree with the others here on how the quality of this hotel has diminished. Been staying here for years and just spent over $600 for a Fri & Sat night stay. No valet parking as others have mentioned and they had some big event going on Sat night and trying to find a parking spot was a nightmare. Place was packed mostly with a young crowd. Could hardly move. Food court closed. Loud music going on till 3:30 AM from the suite 6 rooms down from us and could hear the music. Couldn’t get anybody at the front desk. Both mornings at 8 AM yelling, screaming, laughing banging doors in the hallway. So don’t count on sleeping at all. If your young you won’t mind but the older crew need to get some sleep. Rooms should be cleaned up. Furniture, drapes, walls are stained and marked up. No maid services, no offer of clean towels, long lines at the food places that are opened and tons of vacant store fronts at the outlet. Many slot machines out of service. Bad all the way around.

Instead of a 7 minute walk to the Pequot Casino via the usual walkways they have closed the walkways and instead forced us to walk the length of the entire Tanger Outlet Mall. 16 minute walk in crowds. My elderly mother could not make the walk more than once. When I asked the security people why we cannot use the walkway I was told to read the sign and move along. Very rude. Sign simply said walkways closed. At check in for Fox tower, there was one desk agent working, we were 23rd in line. No longer provide Valet parking at Fox Tower, again a challenge for my mom. The room we had seems a little tired, could use a refresh.

We got a corner suite on the 19th floor of the Fox Tower with a magnificent view! Check in was a breeze and we were happily surprised with our room. Nice amenities and a wonderful, tub / shower room sealed the deal. We really enjoyed our visit!

Booked room in advance for birthday. Called guest services few days prior to confirm, bingo, late check out and make dinner reservations. Arrived, no bingo, we understand because of snow. at 10am we called and they said evening session was on. Colleen at front desk told me to google map of place when I asked a question since our plans changed , restaurant was closed and said there was no checkout due to we don’t have staff and are closing hotel at 11 am. I asked to be moved to another one of your hotels that were staying open and she told me she couldn’t do that. When we got to room, Opened room, smelled of cigar smoke and bathroom sink was backed up - , very unsanitary conditions., specifically during COVID. Called first Operator said I could pay substantially more for a new room or she could send maintenance, explained I have asthma and she said she couldn’t help. I called front desk and explained situation, manager on duty offered to change rooms. We did and new room was much better as no smell and facilities worked. However new room was dusty and had mold on curtains. The misrepresentation of information combined with poor customer service ruined our entire birthday celebration. I have pictures of mold in second room and original assigned room.

We checked into a smoking room that was disguisting. The curtains had nicotine stains, even as a smoker I couldnt stand the stale smell. No window to open to air it out. The cleanliness and even the upkeep was not what I expected for a room that I paid over $300 a night for. We asked a Casino staff for directions to the cheapest card table and he couldnt even understand what we asking, he just walked away. Not impressed at all!
