Total rip off. Cost of room booked was $444 but it ended up being $600 to get a non smoking room and with fees and taxes. Not worth it at all. Had to wait in long check in line twice since the room wasn’t ready when we checked in and they couldn’t just give us the keys and check us in and text us when the room was ready like other hotels do. We had to go back to the front desk. We have stayed at near by hotels before which are much nicer for much less.

We had a great time. Everyone from VIP check in to the house keepers were very helpful and friendly. It was nice that the indoor pool was for Pequot guests only. We didn’t have to worry about guests from other hotels coming over. Love it so much Going back in Nov.

Like many in the gaming industry, Foxwoods is shifting to an "entertainment" model trying to transition to a vacation destination like Disney World. In addition to Go Kart tracks and a Zip line, they are now adding a water park. And they have made many "improvements" to their property to make it more glamorous and glitzy. At the same time, they have raised prices across the board from the gift shop prices, to restaurants, to the hotel rates, to the max bet on most slot machines making the place unafforable and out of the reach of most patrons. After a hiatus of a year, I decided to visit them this weekend thinking Haloween might be a fun time to be there. I took a thousand dollars with me to bet. It lasted about three hours with me making modest bets of 60 cents per spin on the Quick Hit machines. The machines were dull as they did nothing but suck down money without providing any stimulation or excitment (or hope) at any time. It really sucked and left me mildly depressed. A lady next to me complained that she was doing max bets which had been increased on the "improved" replacment machines added in recent months and had lost $300 without ever receiving even one free spin. No accident. The machines are programmed this way. Suffice it to say, that what they have done is not reasonable and many of us will not come back to be robbed. If the service and improvements made were exceptional, there might be some justification, or at least a rationalization, for what they are doing. But the devil is in the details and Foxwood's managment is not paying attention to them. Let's start with getting a reprint of your players' club card. They have eliminated the players' club desks and redcuced the number of attendants by substituting a machine that takes your driver's license and prints a new card. Only problem is that there was only one machine and it did not work. Lights were flashing to show it was malfunctioning, but there was noone to fix it. Finding another machiine or a rewards card attendant was nearly impossible and required a half mile walk to Fox Tower from Great Cedar. The mail promotion that enticed me to visit required me to register to 'spin the wheel' for a guaranteed prize of between $10 and $1000 in bonus slot play or Foxwood rewards. I swiped at the rewards kiosk and spun the wheel and won $10. Then I watched as 8 more patrons spun. Each of them also won only $10. So there was no liklihood that anyone could win more than that. I would argue that the promotion should have contained a statement of the odds on this offer. If I had known I would spin for less than it cost me to drive there, I might have reconsidered going. The hotel was okay, not spectacular, but clean and reasonably comfortable, though there was no minibar to even buy an outrageously priced Diet Coke which you could have gotten from the vending machine in the parking lots if they had worked. There are no vernding machines on the hotel floors. They want you to pay five dollars at the gift shop and $4 for a Snickers, although I did find a $5 chocolate bar for $12.99. Or you could now eat at the relocated Chinese restaurant which along with other favorite shops was moved to make room for more slot machines. Whereas you could have had a Chinese meal at a reasonable price at one time, they tripled prices with a cup of tea now costing $7. I was staying two nights and made my own bed, needing only a fresh towel which seemed like an easy request. After waiting for hours for the maid to get to my room, I asked for the towel and gave her $5 as a tip since I know they work hard and suspect they are underpaid. Unfortunately, she did not speak one word of English. Not one. And tried to mop the floors when I point to the dirty towel on the floor. There was a door hanger where one might normally leave the side up that applied like "please service my room" or "Do not distub". But the new and improved Foxwoods had hangers that read, "I'm out playing 12 holes on the magnificent golf course" or I'm relaxing in my beautiful room". So since neither applied to me, I did not know what side of the hanger should be up and I seriously doubt that the maid would understand either request. I could go on, but think you get the picture. When I get the urge to gamble again, I will plan to travel a little further and longer and go to Atlantic City where competition makes casinos try harder and the odds of winning anything seems to be better. But I may keep my Speedo handy and start working on my body for when the waterpark opens.

I stayed in a 2 queen room on the 18th floor. The room itself was very nice! Roomy, very clean and comfy beds. Large bathroom with tons of space. There is a mini fridge in the room, a great sofa and heavy table and large windows. The bathtub is a deep, soaker style and there are dual shower heads. The property itself was very clean, lots to do and eat - had a lot of fun at foxwoods! The only reason I didn't rate 5 stars was for the following: -The ice machine on my floor was empty for my entire trip and I had to go up or down for ice. Very inconvenient. -Through the week, a lot of the food venues either close early or do not open at all. I'm looking forward to visiting again!

Fun, lots of activities (food, game, slots, shop, etc), can get pricey though, like very pricey. clean as expected for a mega casino and cozy atmosphere though it might just be because I've been coming back for years. Hotel room was good though nothing ground breaking just a fancy room.

My Son, Daughter and I were here for a dance competition. We stayed here from July 10th through the 15th. When we got here I went straight ti the bellman ti ask for directions for my son, was very nice. I checked in, it was early so I knew my room would not be ready. I went to the bellman to ask if it’s okay if they can take all our bags and if our room is not ready and we need something for the competition can we grab it. The lady and the man that was there, was the nicest. He grab all our bags from my car and stored it and did say since we checked in early you will definitely get a room. Within an hour our room was ready, the lady saw going back to the front desk and she right away grabbed my bags. She came up so quick. The entire hotel is spotless, very nice. No smoking at all which is a plus. Room was perfect. My 20 and 15 year old felt safe. Food the entire weekend was perfect. Yes pricey, but I expected that. We ate at Guys, Red lantern, California Pizza, Sugar, Scorpion bar and a couple of fast food places. We drank at the center bar, and our bartender was Peter. Big shout out to him. He remembered all our names and our drinks. A great worker to have on your staff. This is my only complaint when we checked in no one told me that there will be no housekeeping, that I would have to call for service. So Tuesday afternoon came I had no service and no towels (since they only left 4) r used that up right away. I called they told me that I am suppose to call up daily if I want service. I think is ridiculous they said they would send up towels. Got no towels. When up to the front desk and she said I promise I will send up towels and I will make a note that you want it daily. By 10:30pm we still got no towels I called a 3rd time. Someone finally came up and then showed me a phone that shows complained 3 times I said yes I did. He did not understand English. The next day I called to make sure someone will clean she said I will put it in what time are we leaving the room. It did get cleaned but I thought since the lady at the front desk put it in for me I really did not have to call. I was wrong no service for the rest of our stay. We had plenty of towels but we had so much garbage and I do like having a fresh bed made up in the am. Checking out was fine the bellmen came right when we called, grabbed our bags and held them so we can shop at Tanger. As soon as I checked into valet I got my car within 5min. And once again the man (wish I remembered his name) help d put all our bags in our car. I would come again but something has to be done with housekeeping and communication.

Two night midweek stay on upper floor with view of the woods. Very quiet. Room was large and well appointed with fridge, water and coffee maker. Huge bathroom. Mattress was the best I've ever slept on. Check in and check out was a breeze. Hotel is centrally located and elevators deposit you into casino and restaurants. Customer service was excellent.

I would not recommend this hotel especially if you are coming with kids. We are currently staying at the grand Pequot. We had a terrible interaction with the spa supervisor, HEIDI RIVIERA regarding the pool hours. She was unpleasant during our interaction and avoidant to discuss any issues. We had been using the pool while my father was gambling. He has been a loyal patron of the institution for years and spends the majority of his time in the casino. During this time, I take my three year old son around for excursions or shopping. During this stay, we decided to utilize the pool. While we were at the pool, an attendant told us that it was adults swim. Heidi at this time told us that adult swim was from 1pm to 6pm but after 6pm is was no longer adult swim. She was purposely misleading because after 6pm the pool is closed for all. We complied and removed ourselves from the pool. While we were sitting on the lounge chairs drying off, we were told that we have to vacate immediately due to adult swim. At the time my son was bundled in a towel on the lounge chair. The sign that was posted said it was adult only swim but not that the pool area could not have children. I am unsure if this was provoked by the race of my family, however when we asked to speak to the manager for clarification, we were told that she had told the attendant to call security on us instead of coming to speak to us. When we went to the front desk to confront her about threatening to call security on patrons of the hotel instead of speaking to us, she was avoidant. She went to the back office and had us wait. As she did not want to have a conversation and realize that her tone and lack of professionalism affect the stay of the guests at the hotel. We don’t feel comfortable going back to the spa /pool area because of her demeanor and tone throughout the interaction; especially because she had threatened to call security on myself and my three year old son

Another great stay at Foxwoods. We came here before the pandemic and had a great time and we were excited to come back for an overnight getaway once everything was back open. The room was a great price for a Sunday night stay and we had a nice clean comfortable room on the 16th floor. The holiday decorations throughout the casino were beautiful and there’s so much to do. The pool is open again and barely anyone was there so it was relaxing to lay there. We enjoy having a room in the casino to go back and forth between the shops and restaurants and to be able to come back to the room if needed. It’s a nice close getaway and I can’t wait to come back soon.
