Our bicycle tour group stayed at the Inn during a recent tour of the Hudson Valley and everyone was very pleased. Our host Shaffin was very gracious and tended to all our needs. The lodgings are historic and charming; the rooms were very well kept. Breakfast was delicious as well and offered a great selection. I would highly recommend the...

I recently attended a Halloween Costume wedding here at the Wake Robin. Everything was charming. My room was updated, clean, and cozy. The entire place was well maintained, pleasant, and modern, considering it dates from early 19th Century. The entire staff was very welcoming, and caring. Food was very good . The continental breakfast was quite extensive. The grounds and...

This inn is immaculate and beautiful. Very cozy but not claustrophobic! The innkeepers are awesome and provide excellent guest service. Great continental breakfast too. Last night we sat and had great wine in front of the roaring fire. The inn was full but there are lots of rooms to go for quiet. We will definitely stay here again! Great location...

This is obviously an old Inn that has a lot of historic charm but hasn't been completely renovated from its Victorian days. We had a room on the 3rd Floor. Our room was a regular queen sized but it was very, very small. The bathroom was tiny with a standard walk in shower stall. I would have paid for a...

From the minute I arrived, I felt relaxed and well cared for having been greeted by Shaffin, the manager, and Hermes and Zeus, the two resident poodles. My daughter's wedding was being held locally, and Wake Robin couldn't have been more accommodating to me and the other guests. My room was over the top! The continental breakfast was excellent and...

We wanted a quiet, private and elegant inn in northern CT and found the perfect place. Beautifully restored old building which has been tastefully decorated. Our king bed is super-comfortable. The staff is gracious and helpful, steering us to the best restaurant in the area. Lovely stay.

Stayed here for two night for a wedding at another facility. The staff is friendly and attentive and our room was quite nice. They have complementary water and snacks available in the little bar area, and the common areas are very comfortable. We had an arranged Sunday brunch after the wedding which was also very good. Some in our group...

Stayed here for my niece's wedding at another beautiful facility neaby and it turned out to be an excellent choice. The Wake Robin served as a quiet oasis to relax and refresh before and after a perfect ceremony and joyful reception. Understated and unobtrusive, yet well appointed and elegant, I would recommend it to anyone looking for an escape.

Their hospitality, accommodations and of course cuisine were above and beyond expectations! They provided unexpected (and much desired) amenities such as bottled water, chips, wines, coffees, candy at all times of the day! As well as the yummiest breakfasts with local and glutton free options. They were very in tune to all our needs from bug & tick sprays (outdoor...

Beautiful 3-story converted girls school which offers a very relaxing setting. Rooms are very comfortable and quiet. Lots of places to sit and read or just enjoy the environment. Staff are extremely friendly and accommodating, even making special phone calls for reservations and for family communication (mobile service sometime sketchy). Have already booked for next year's Graduation weekend.
