I had the pleasure of staying at the Travel Inn after enjoying the musical stylings of Phish. The room had a musky scent and a damp/dank/dark feeling that penetrated the nostrils. The vagrants surrounding the establishment gave it a homey vibe, making us feel comfortable but not safe. If I had to choose between sleeping in a ditch, in a... More

We decided to split up our trip into two days from Maine to Penna. Hartford is about halfway and while my wife and I are not very fussy about hotel amenities, this one was hands down the worst place I ever have stayed in. As other reviewers have posted, this building should have been knocked down years ago. The concrete... More

I stayed here like others due to an emergency. The outside of the hotel doesn't look half bad however looks are deceiving. The inside is disgusting. The room was dirty from not being properly cleaned in a long time. The sink area still had signs of use from the last guest. The bath tub had something red on the outside... More

Didn't plan on staying as long as we did, but due to life circumstances we stayed for 2 months. The staff was very friendly. Every morning, on my way to drop the kids to school, or on my way to work, the housekeepers would say good morning with a big smile. Even tho I didn't need much of their services... More

My boyfriend and I came here last night after the vans warped tour. This place is absolutely disgusting. There was a wall between the man and I which did not even seem safe. The vending machines didn't even work. This man took literally an hour to get us into the room. We finally got a room and we walked in.... More

I missed a flight and this was the only hotel available. I have no idea what was going on that so many people were staying in hotels near Bradley Airport but that doesn't matter. I have never been to this part of Hartford before and I will never go there again. A sign on the plexiglass between me and the... More

Stayed here one night over the weekend after attending a concert at the XL Center. It was conveniently located near the center in a decent neighborhood. Certainly could use an upgrade - well-used appearance - carpet especially, but the bed was clean and comfortable, TV worked, shower worked well - water was warm and plentiful and we were able to... Booked one nights stay on our way between Boston and NYC as we were attending a concert. This hotels proximity to the xfinity theatre is it's only redeeming quality. The motel was very run down, and we could tell before even entering the room that it was going to be a nightmare! The room was dirty and extremely dated, the... More

Wow, the most disgusting place I have ever stayed in. Stayed there only for convenience to see a show at the Xfinity and not have to drive home. Next time I would drive or walk home and NOT stay in this dump. Room smelled of stale cigarettes, rug was nasty--would NOT walk barefoot on it, said "No" to a shower,... More
