Warm nice welcome on arrival, helpful service all stay. Pleased. Loved old style, very low ceiling and full of timbers loft room with rough floor. Really interesting experience :) Very cozy small restaurant with amazing testing food. Loved pigeon breast! Royal breakfast, yummy!

A very warm welcome upon arrival car parking at rear very accessible We were attending a wedding party and the venue was excellent for all round service without having to leave anytime Comfortable room and beds all well appointed. Restaurant food and breakfast was first class. Not a huge fan of buffet breakfast on the Sunday morning. Beautiful garden for...

We had our wedding at the Talbot on Saturday 11th March and it was truly amazing. All the staff went above and beyond for us and the day was perfect. The food was amazing - empty plates all around! All of our friends and family keep commenting on how wonderful the venue looked and how much they enjoyed the day...

I stayed at the Talbot last night with my boyfriend, first impressions all good, wonderful modern hotel but with quirky aspects making it unique and stylish. The room included an iron, hairdryer, kettle, everything you could need and more (including biscuits, what more could anyone need!). The bed was amazing, so comfy all night long, it was such a struggle...

We took advantage of a special deal to have tea locally at the Talbot. Disappointing. The sandwiches and cakes were nice. The W. Indian waiter helpful; offering us a second pot of tea. The tea, though, was just ordinary teabag stuff in a chipped pot - no choice of teas. We asked to sit in the (deserted) conservatory area as...

I stayed at the Talbot on 24 February , after a long day in London. The welcome I received from the reception staff was warm, friendly , efficient and professional. My room was full of charm, character and extremely comfortable. I hadn't booked breakfast and was told this would be available from 7-10.... perfect for me as I needed to...

We stayed at the Talbot Inn and attended a private party in the evening. The inn is an old coaching inn but with many modern extensions and enhancements. It is full of old- world charm coupled with modern efficiency. Staff friendly and helpful and did everything to make our stay enjoyable, even at 1:30 am. Our room was in the...

Stayed here for one night, having celebrated my mums 70th birthday here with afternoon tea for family and friends. Excellent, helpful staff and management, nothing was too much trouble, did everything we asked and more.

This is the first time I have stayed here. The receptionist was brilliant sorting all my requests out before our stay and we were very pleased with the results. Everything was as I asked. The location is lovely and main part of the hotel has lovely character. We stayed in Horatio which was a nice room at the front of...

Stayed at the Talbot Inn at Ripley on Thursday 23 February 2017. It was lovely from the moment we walked in the front door - the receptionist was so friendly right through to the breakfast manager. Would definitely recommed this hotel. Thank you for making our stay so lovely.
