The Navy Lodge in Groton was Clean as a Whistle so to speak. Beds are comfy and the little snack area downstairs is just enough to get you going in the morning. Will always enjoy a stay here. I would hope that someday there would be an area with a Sauna or Steam Rm. That would just make my day.

My first stay here was about three weeks ago and I did a decent inspection for bedbugs and came up with nothing. I didn't wake up with any bites either (as I have reactions to bites, but not everyone does!). This last weekend I had a room booked and I found bed bugs while doing my inspection and they offered...

It is easy to understand why the Groton Navy Lodge received the best lodge award. My husband and I stayed here for one night en-route to Cape Cod. Our room had two queen beds with your choice of soft or hard pillows or both, a large bathroom, large closet, and adequate-stocked kitchen facilities. There was also a small table and...

This place has been updated beautifully! Navy colors and ocean and boating paintings are very beautiful. Rooms spacious. Continental breakfast was perfect. USA Today free in lobby. We didn't use the kitchen much, but it was great to have it. The staff is super friendly and very professional.

Here for a Rascal Flats concert @ Foxwoods. The Navy Lodge, for Active, Guard/Reserve and Retired Military was recently renovated. The rooms were fresh, bright and comfortable. There are 2 full size beds with both firm and soft pillows. There is a small kitchen, microwave fridge sink. Nice touch since our last visit is. Continental breakfast - cold cereal, pastries,...

Stayed here for 3-days on a business trip and satisfied overall. The place is very clean and well maintained. Big room and nice. The only thing is there is no elevator especially if you're assigned a room on the second floor. It's quite a walk especially if they give you a room at the end of the building. There's a...

We were more than pleased with our stay. We only needed a place to stay for one night while traveling back home for the holidays. This lodge is beautiful. Rooms are well maintained, new condition and so clean. Beds were very comfortable. Check in & out was easy. We missed the breakfast (our own fault). Will definitely be back.

I called them to ask if they had a wired Internet connection in the rooms, because I needed one for my job, and I was told there is a chance I could get a room with a wired connection, but no promises. I made two reservations, but we really wanted to stay at the Navy Lodge. I called again and...

This property is in constant upgrade mode - to include the professional training for the staff - and it shows! Everything from the check-in to the breakfast bar, the comfort of the rooms, furnishings, common areas, are all top-drawer, and rivals a Hampton Inn for quality and comfort. The price alone makes this an attractive venue. If getting up the...

Stayed at the Navy Lodge a few years back. What a difference. Brand new lobby, large breakfast (free), huge 2 bed room suites, they must have upgraded everything. What a treat for the price. After traveling for 2 weeks through the north east and staying in a variety of accommodations, my wife just loved the large room and great beds.

“The facility is two story and there is no elevator, only steps to the upper floor. They do accept pets in certain rooms. Downstairs rooms would be perfect for handicapped as there are no steps to enter the building.”

“This property DOES NOT have an elevator. If you have trouble carrying your belongings up and down the stairs you may want to request a first floor room. Our room was very quiet.”
