Hello Cedartraveler, I would like to thank you for taking the time to fill out a review of your stay here with us at the Hartford Marriott Farmington. The management team has been on property for four short months and currently working to help elevate an older property. We have replaced all the mattresses, alarm clocks, pillows and currently awaiting a delivery for brand new fitness equipment. The hotel is also currently in the design phase of a renovation that should be happening at the end of 2019 or early 2020. Dear Jeanmarcr366, Thank-you for providing such a quick and efficient survey of our property, we truly do value the honesty that is provided. Our staff appreciates your compliments and are excited to provide you with continued excellence throughout your future stays. The "dated" look and feel of our rooms have been an issue that has been presented to us, and you are absolutely correct; simply maintaining the original feel of the hotel is not enough. With that in mind, we are proud to announce that we are ringing in the new year with a beautifully designed renovation. The new bed that you enjoyed is but one of the precursors to the renovations, along with the improved door locks and bluetooth enabled digital keys. We truly do apologize for the hecticity that the fire alarm caused. Several of our agents were investigating the cause of the alarm, and unfortunately the Front Desk agents were changing shift as this occured. It was a simple matter of miscommunication, but we had ensured the safety of all of our guests immediately. We have since addressed the issue with the entirety of our staff in order to prevent such a prolonged alarm from occurring in the future. I do not know because I have never ordered room service there. I think it is available as long as either the bar or restaurant are serving food, but that is a guess. Like other Marriotts they have a small pantry from which soda, ice cream and snacks can be purchased 24/7.

Good Morning! Thank you for your interest in our property. Unfortunately, the hot tub will not be returning to the hotel anytime soon. We certainly hope that you had an opportunity to enjoy both our indoor and our outdoor pool area.
