Newer hotel with a sleek, modern, cool design. Lobby and lounge areas with super comfy couches and chaise lounges. Complimentary breakfast is minimal but tasty with hot and cold items.

Our king room was very comfortable, clean, spacious and quiet. The pillows were fair; 2 super down-y and 2 terribly stiff.

Unfortunately, no bluetooth or iDock of any kind (even though it was shown in online room pics), only radio.

No recycling to be found anywhere, which is unacceptable.

Confirming a late check out was incredibly difficult and rather odd! Requested via email upon booking a 1 night's stay, was told to ask at check in/check out. Asked at check in, was told to ask in the morning , "because we don't know what the housekeeping situation will be". Asked again in the morning at 8a, was told "we'll have to look in to it"..finally able to confirm during breakfast by going to the front desk yet again. It was a Thursday night/Friday morning stay and did not seem crowded at all..

The staff was very helpful, accommodating and kind. The room was immaculate. Everything was spotless. The bed/bedding was clean, comfy and had extra touches to break up the cold feeling hotel rooms often have. I've stayed in many hotels and this was, by far, the best experience/ one yet.

We hosted our wedding at Le Chateau in South Salem. As a Ridgefield native, I know hotels in the area can feel like slim pickings if you want quality accommodations and ease of access. Hotel Zero Degrees Danbury offered a very competitive rate for our room block and, for a small @ local hotel, was able to provide us with 60 rooms per night. It has immaculate rooms and service. Sarah, in management, worked with us tirelessly to ensure nearly all of our invited and attending guests had rooms at their quaint hotel while hosting additional weddings and conferences over the same weekend as well. Sarah gave us multiple tours of guest rooms, conference rooms for potential brunch locations, and of their restaurant so we could make informed decisions about booking. She was patient, knowledgeable, and very helpful throughout the entire planning process. I’m so glad we chose Hotel Zero Degrees Danbury for our wedding room block!
We also used Terra Bar for our after party and it was a great time! Madison patiently worked with us to help us get our menus figured out and an open bar timeline negotiated.
It was so great to have most of our guests at the same location at our after-party venue. The food options we picked were awesome! Their menu was season and offered a good selection of vegetarian choices to provide some variety. We went with mostly finger foods so our guests wouldn’t feel bound to a table with a fork and plate during the after party, but the food was so good I think some sit-down options would have gone over well too! Madison was really flexible with us to make sure we got the food we wanted. Everyone was great to work with!

I want to give Hotel Zero a good review but I can’t because I was unable to sleep. The noise from the hallway and other guest rooms was way too loud. Also, the mattress was comfortable but crinkly/noisy so if one person moves you can’t help but hear it.

Fitness center is clean with 3 treadmills, 2 elliptical machines, a bike and a tv. They have one machine with weights and pulleys, dumbbells, one kettle bell and a few other items for stretching. Water and towels are available as are cleaning towelettes to wipe down equipment. Everything was clean and welcoming.

Free breakfast is always nice with typical items - scrambled eggs, breakfast meats, fresh cut fruit and danish/bagels etc. my only complaint was temperature of eggs. I looked below and did not see any stereo cans lit which seems like an easy fix. Also, had to wait about 10 minutes for eggs to be replenished once tray was empty.

Location is great and plenty of parking. If only they made the walls and doors more soundproof. It’s sad when they don’t realize all the extras don’t matter if guests can’t sleep. If you don’t mind hearing doors slamming, music, laughter and talking throughout the night then you’ll be fine as the hotel is clean and staff is excellent.

So I recently stayed at the hotel Zero degrees in Danbury Ct. and did not have a pleasant experience at all. It started with the person at the front desk having an attitude. Then we get to room go to take a shower and the water is completely brown I was told that they share water with the City Of Danbury and if they they do some work the water becomes brown but was never made aware of this at check-in. so the first night we were not able to take a shower. we left the hotel for the day and arrive back around 7 o’clock and our bed was not made no new towels in the room wasn’t cleaned. I was told that during the Covid you need to request your room being clean which is fine but it would have been nice if somebody would’ve told us that upon check-in. After checkout I was charged $265 was never notified what the charge was for. So I called the hotel it took three days for a manager to get back to me. She explained that there were some cigar wrappers left in the room so they just assume that they were smoking in the room which no one had smoked in the room and that she could not refund me for the additional hassle of cleaning the room. Which we left minimal mess especially for a room that haven’t been clean since we were there. needless to say I will not be visiting this hotel ever again!

It appears that Covid is being used as an excuse for poor service. The free breakfast in the description has been discontinued, but breakfast items (cereal, yogurt, bananas, juice) are available in the little “market” for purchase. They need to correct that in their description of amenities.
Worst was that, during our 3 night stay, there was no servicing of room—period. No cleaning, towels, soap (there was only one short towel bar, so not room for 2 people to dry towels). I expect that policy when we rent a condo, but not a hotel. Covid cannot be an excuse for lack of cleaning. We had to request bar soap and were given one bar for our stay. The tiny bottle of shower gel wasn’t sufficient for 2 people.
Decor is sleek and attractive, but if planning to stay longer than a few days, drawers would be helpful.
There was a Keurig machine, but no tea bags ——coffee pods provided for just the first day. Only 2 paper cups.
We complained and were told that we had to fill out a special form, if we wanted our room serviced. ?????? What hotel does that???? Obviously another money saver for them. Nothing that we received or were told upon check-in mentioned that. We made it clear that we wanted our room serviced (even alerted the cleaning lady in the hall), but the same thing happened again the next day.
The manager’s excuse was that he can’t get help. I noticed a lot of people who wrote for another site complained about the cleanliness, but unfortunately, we booked without checking the reviews.

Dear pwCapetownSA, Thank you for taking a moment to review your recent visit to Hotel Zero Degrees Danbury. Please accept our sincerest apologies for the issues you encountered while with us last weekend, we are truly saddened to hear that your stay fell short of expectations. I can assure you covid is not being used as an excuse to cut any costs or service. I am sure you are aware of the impact the Covid -19 pandemic had on the travel industry, and that impact led to some challenging times for restaurants and hotels, including ours. We did discontinue our breakfast, and remove that amenity from all website descriptions and booking sites. I apologize if you read a review that we offer a complimentary breakfast, or it was included on a description when you booked. With the abundance of review sites, reservation sites, booking portals and online travel agents today, I can understand if that amenity is still being advertised. We will review again and do our very best remove it from as many places as we have control to do so. Please know that while we did discontinue breakfast, we do take that into consideration when publishing our rates. We did introduce new policies during the pandemic, in order to keep our staff and guests safe. The vast majority of travelers did not want their room serviced daily, and still prefer not to have staff entering the room every day if they are with us for multiple nights. I apologize for any miscommunication that took place during your visit, however there is not a special form that needs to be completed in order to have your rooms serviced daily. On the registration card you signed upon arrival, guests just need to elect to have their room serviced daily. Once again it appears this was missed at check in, and for that I truly sorry. I am not sure who you spoke with, but I can assure you that your room was not skipped dude to a lack of help or staff, only because the housekeeping team was under the impression you did not want service. Although recruiting and hiring new staff has become more challenging in recent times, I can assure you we have the staff to keep the hotel clean and service our guests. We are disappointed to hear about your poor stay, and would welcome the opportunity to discuss further. Please feel free to reach out to me directly if you wish to speak. Regards, Kevin Gross Director of Operations

This hotel is totally basic but charges the prices of a boutique hotel. They’ve added a few design elements that signal it’s a luxury hotel but that is just a front. The construction is poor, the rooms are loud (neighbors and heat/cooling), and the service is almost nonexistent. When I called for enough towels (they gave us 2 for a party of 3) and for ice, the front desk person gave me a hard time. I can’t in good conscience recommend this hotel. It is clean though, but totally overpriced for what it is. The breakfast is a total joke. After spending over $600 a night for a room, I’d expect more than bagels, dry cereal, and horrible coffee. That is literally what was on offer and not an exaggeration. The restaurant Terra was very good though it didn't open until 11:30am so you couldn't go there for breakfast if you wanted to. When we checked out they didn't even say thank you.

Dear G7024VXtracya, Thank you for taking a moment to review your recent visit to Hotel Zero Degrees Danbury. Please accept our sincerest apologies for the issues you encountered while with us last weekend, we are truly saddened to hear that your stay with us fell well short of expectations. Your feedback is very valuable as it helps us to identify some of the areas that need improvement. We will be sure to share this feedback with our housekeeping and front desk team to identify where we could have done better. I am sorry to hear you were let down by our breakfast offering. While we do offer a limited breakfast spread, it is completely complimentary and reflected accordingly in our rates. We appreciate you taking a moment to mention Terra, and we are happy to hear they were the silver lining in what was otherwise a poor experience. Please feel free to reach out to me directly should you wish to discuss your stay further. Happy Holidays, Kevin Gross Director of Operations

We stayed here recently while attending a wedding in the NY/CT area (the couple had a room block) & it was one of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had! We have status with one of the large hotel groups so staying at a local boutique hotel wasn’t our preference, but we were pleasantly surprised by the very clean facilities, spacious rooms, kind staff, and free breakfast. One of our favorite parts was the bar soap in the bathroom — “zero waste” and quirkily shaped like a “0” as well, so cute! The bride arranged to have the bridal party get ready in two adjoining suites which was more than enough room to comfortably accommodate 10 bridal party members and the 4-person hair and makeup team. I also had to work for a bit during our stay, but was pleasantly surprised by the free and, more importantly, fast internet throughout the hotel. We also parked our vehicle on-site (again, at no additional cost) and were happy with the safe and ample parking lot. Overall, I think our stay rivaled (if not surpassed) that which we’ve had at some of the larger chain hotels and I would highly recommend Hotel Zero Degrees to anyone traveling in this area!

My fiancé and I spent our valentines at hotel zero degrees. After countless conversations with competitor hotel personnel, zero was the unanimous choice. The clean modern design only set the foundation for a night out of a Disney movie. Breathtaking doesn’t even begin to describe the ambiance created but the zero staff. Juana and nichole went above and beyond with the help of roses, chocolates, and cocktails to create a scene that brought tears to my fiancé’s eyes. Never have I received hotel service that made you forget you weren’t in the comfort of your own home, until now. 10/10 hotel zero will forever be my first choice in Danbury CT and I’m extremely thankful for their part in creating a night that will last a lifetime.

Check in was okay, went over the rules for the stay. Told the front desk wanted room cleaned everyday and fresh linens everyday, towels all types. Well room was not cleaned our last night there, we had a 4 night stay. Had to ask for towels the next to last night after going to my granddaughters night wedding. Got back around 1130 PM and room was no cleaned and no clean linen, they did bring up linen but house-keeper was N/A so now 3 days room was not cleaned and we again had to ask it to be done everyday which we did ! They asked for a review and we gave it to them once we got home in Florida. No response from them. I then sent a e-mail to the hotel Manager about our concerns at the hotel and he never responded either !!!! Checking out I needed a luggage cart and none available staff was moving things around with the carts !!!!!
