This place is lovely and so relaxing. It's a beautiful property with a great indoor/ outdoor restaurant. There is plenty of nice seating around a wood burning fire pit and it even has corn hole boards. The food at the restaurant was a little pricey but fabulous!!! I have been traveling to Danbury for 8 years and this is the 1st time I've ever stayed at Hotel Zero and it will NOT be my last.
Our stay was only for one night but the staff upon check in to the cleanliness of the room and common areas was so refreshing. We even had a staff member in the elevator who spoke with us and asked how are stay was and if he could help in anyway(he wasn't a manager). I would stay here again when I am in the area. Thank you so much from Maine.
If you are getting married in the greater Danbury area, do yourself a favor and book your wedding room blocks here! Hotel Zero is the most beautiful hotel in the area, the rooms are gorgeous and so clean, the restaurant is delicious, and the staff is very friendly! Sarah McAniff was a dream to work with throughout the entire room block process, she was so knowledgeable, so pleasant, and gave us all of the information we needed to make a decision on room blocks, rehearsal dinner planning, after party planning, etc. Our best friends are getting married in September and we already cannon wait to go back and stay at Hotel Zero!
I booked this hotel for a 3 nights business trip. The pillow is too soft so i asked front desk for 8 towels so i can make a pillow. The guy who is manager told me he can only give 2 towels as they don’t have extra as all towels are in laundry. So i got 2. After a couple of hours i came back to front desk to see if laundry is done. This time a female staff said her manager is off duty but told her not to give out any towels to me as he already gave me 2. This is ridiculous. Why the manager lie and why they can not provide the towels that customers need? Is the towels very expensive? Will never return to this hotel anymore.
This is a great place to stay, extremely clean, great food at the Terra restaurant, which is just off the lobby, and my favorite feature which is the complimentary coffee that is available 24 hour a day!
My husband and I booked this hotel for one night as we had some business in the area. Apparently there was a wedding the next day at the hotel and they put us on a floor with some of the wedding party. We didn’t know this until we heard partying going on all night, spilling out into the hallway outside our room. We called the desk several times but they did nothing that was effective in stopping the noise.
The hotel overall is a beautiful property. The rooms are spacious, clean and the walk-in shower is huge. Regardless of the chic vibes, what stood out the most was the staff at this property. Nicole is absolutely incredible! She saved my buddies wedding from a potential disaster and couldn't have been more professional and nice throughout the entire process. I can tell she is definitely a main reason behind the hotel's success. She is an absolute ROCK STAR and deserves a raise. Another staff member who was also amazing during our stay was Alex. She helped out our group on several occasions all while wearing a smile and being super friendly. So, I would absolutely recommend this hotel for anyone looking to book rooms in the area.
Meh. Very minimal décor, rooms are the same. Out door property is nicely set, except for all the dog feces on the lawn as you enter the hotel. Great staff and dinner restaurant. Hotel staff seemed disinterested. My room didn't have Kleenex and the thermostat wasn't working correctly. I twice requested both to be resolved. Finally got the tissues but the thermostat was never addressed. And the continental breakfast is one of the most pathetic attempts I have ever seen at an "upscale" hotels. I will never stay at this hotel again. But I certainly will go back to the Terra Restaurant. Ambience, food, and service were all first class.
We recently hosted many out-of-town family members for a wedding, and Hotel Zero Degrees was the perfect location. Everything about the hotel was clean and beautiful. Staff were attentive and accommodating, and the Events Coordinator was an excellent resource, and extremely helpful all the way through the planning process. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough if you are planning an event. Our guests were raving about how pleasant their stay was, and our room had one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept on!
Hotel 0 Degrees *DANBURY* is the best hotel in the world, at which this globetrotting Sound Healing-Model-Yogi-Chef has ever stayed. The architecture, ambiance, + staff create an amalgamation of a second home you want to take with you when you leave. Terra - the hotel's exquisitely delicious on-site restaurant + bar are just the freaking-ass cherry on top! Thank you, THANK YOU - thank you! @being_sovereign @high_priestess_saviii @the_healing_kitch
