From the time we arrived and met Stacey (we met Mark the next day) and up until the time we departed the next morning my family and I were very satisfied with our accommodations. Both Stacey and Mark were very friendly and accommodating. A glass of wine was offered in the evening and a nice continental breakfast the next morning.... More

I recently traveled to CT for a funeral, and booked a room at the inn as it was one of the few pet-friendly accommodations in the area. I carefully reviewed the pictures online, and selected a second floor room (Bluejay Cache) in the lodge based on the number of windows, the floor space for our dog to sit as we... More

Dear Jen G: The circumstances that brought you to our inn, certainly were very unfortunate. If we were insensitive, in any way, we sincerely apologize. In regards to the room, should you have expressed your dissatisfaction to us, as you spoke with each of us, we would have happily moved you to another room you found acceptable. As you can... More

My husband and I stayed at the Cornwall Inn on July 18th when dropping off our daughter at a nearby prep school for summer camp. The property is adorable, the room was clean, and the breakfast was very nice. Best of all was being able to chat with Mark, and some other guests at breakfast. Mark and Stacey really make... More

The inn keeper was so sweet to us! She provided us with maps and hints about the area restaurants and shops. The breakfast was perfect with lots of fresh fruit and pastry. The hot tub and pool were a great addition to this cute bed and breakfast. We sat out at night in the hot tub and looked at the... More

We stayed at the Cornwall Inn on our road trip to the east coast. I found this place because it was midpoint of where we were driving to and there was also some covered bridges in the area I wanted to see. When we arrived we were greeted warmly and checked into our room. The room was beautiful and a... More

Very nice accommodation in this inn, which is situated a little bit in the middle of nowhere; but ideal for fishermen fishing on the nearby Housatonic River. I did not stay in the main building, but in one of the room of the annex, which was very convenient for me. The room are quite cozy, and most comfortable with all... More

The hotel is about an hour drive from Bradley International Airport in Hartford. It is just a few miles from Kent Falls. The entire area is absolutely beautiful. The inn was not so difficult to find, however not by GPS. Get your directions before getting to the area. At the inn, the owners were very friendly and informative. There was... More

This is a lovely spot in the Litchfield Hills. The property sings out that "this is nature" so take it all in. Our room in the Lodge was charming as was the breakfast and "gathering" room in the main inn. The breakfast was very generous and the granola was homemade delicious. ( compliments to Mark whose recipe it is.) This... More

Comfortable room, beautiful facilities, great breakfast and excellent experience. Easy access from the road. Complimentary beverages was a must after a 9 hour riding a motorcycle from Montreal. Thanks Mark & Stacy

Lovely and clean. Owners present - involvement good. Was at beginning of season so pool etc., not ready, and working beginning throughout in readiness for main season. We were in the lodge, was clean and comfortable, loved sitting on verandah until dark, reading and listening to birds. Photo's perhaps look a little 'grander' than experience, but overall a good choice.... More

Thank you, Rodney, for your review. Glad you enjoyed the deck and the birds (we actually once had a guest complain that they were too noisy). The pool was up and running, albeit quite cold, by Saturday with brave guests taking the plunge knowing they could jump in the hot tub afterwards. Many thanks for staying with us---hope to see...
