Mont Ventoux is the most famous mountain in cycling. A regular Tour de France highlight. A magnet for cyclists the world over. VELOVENTOUX is based in Ventoux's shadow, in the beautiful village of Faucon, and run by British cycling aficionado Craig Entwistle and his wife Vicky. We have thousands of kilometres of fantastic bike routes right on our doorstep. We provide not just bed and breakfast, but all the advice and support you need to get the most out of your stay. We cater for all abilities, from pottering around through the vineyards to cyclosportives and full on training camps, or taking on Ventoux and the Alpe d'Huez - and everything in between - in a single day. At VELOVENTOUX, we love cycling, we love the Ventoux, we love this region that has the best that France has to offer. And we love the fact that so many of our visitors keep coming back for more.

Detailed Reviews
A friend and I stayed at VeloVentoux for 5 nights at their new place in Puymeras, I can't say enough positive things about VeloVentoux, from arriving there late and Vicki having the perfect meal waiting for us in a beautiful location. The accommodation is perfect for cyclists and has everything you could need, including a beer stocked fridge. The bar and restaurant in the village were superb as was the pizza van. Guided rides with Craig and Andy were fantastic, taking us off the beaten track through routes we would never have found on our own, Vicky and Craig were great hosts and couldn't do enough, Will definitely be back. Oh and we did the Cingles challenge :-)

Just left Veloventoux after a simply amazing cycling holiday. Was based there as a solo cyclist for three days. Craig& Vicki left me feeling like royalty with the way they took me into their B&B and looked after my every cycling need and more over the trip.
Cannot praise them enough - even did a fully van supported ride on the Ventoux for me even though i was the only cyclist attempting it that day. Amazing!
Guided rides are amazing - ride host was full of tips and local knowledge.
Gets a massive highly recommended from me.

Jack & I have just stayed with Craig & Vicky at their new base in Puymeras. We had a great time. They are super welcoming and have thought of everything that cyclists could need for a fun, challenging time in the saddle. The accommodation was very comfortable and well stocked. The charming village has a lively bar which also serves great food. Craig & Andy took us out on beautiful rides straight from the house. We also rode Mt Ventoux with van support from Craig which meant that a mechanical that could have scuppered the whole attempt if not worse was quickly & expertly fixed by Craig by the roadside. We can't speak highly enough of the whole experience and can't wait to come back. Thanks so much guys!!

Superb 5 days cycling with Craig and his team.
Nothing is touch much trouble for them, letting you take it at you own pace. They have a great knowledge of the area and find some stunning routes Gorges De Le Nesque, being the personal highlight for me. In saying that the ascent of Ventoux was special too and knowing Craig in not far away in the van for support is great peace of mind.
We stayed at Sous l’Olivier in Buis, the staff were very friendly and always happy to help. With the hotel very clean and comfortable.
Buis its self is a busy little town with plenty of bars and restaurants, although they seemed to open on some sort of rota.
All in all a fantastic few days away with great company and amazing cycling.
Thanks to Craig and his team.

I love cycling, and I love travel… and when I discovered Velo Ventoux, it seemed to be the perfect fit for my introduction to cycling in the Alps.
This past May, I turned 40 years old, and I wanted to create a special trip for my birthday. Craig, Vicky, and Andy far exceeded my expectations for a perfect holiday.
Arranging the travel and accommodations was simple and hassle-free. I was picked up from the train station and escorted to their property. Upon arrival, the residence I stayed in was immaculate and beautiful. Coming from a busy city… their property was everything I needed to escape, relax, and enjoy the hidden gem of Puymeras.
I am an intermediate-level cyclist, and I was taken on long rides that pushed my comfort level in the best ways possible. I’m always looking to grow my cycling ability and boost my confidence, and the rides that were planned for me couldn’t have fit that description better. Andy always checked on me, ensured my energy was up, took care of me/looked out for me, and challenged me appropriately.
I was able to enjoy local cuisine, and on the evenings that meals were prepared, they kindly accommodated my needs. Andy went out of his way to ensure I had enough food for our rides (I’m vegan), and he always sought out coffee stops with perfect timing.
As a solo female traveler, I’m always concerned about safety. From the moment I was picked up and dropped off, I felt completely taken care of, and it was obvious that I was in a safe place.
The only downside of my trip is that it was too short. While I felt that I truly had gotten to see a wide variety of cycling in the area, Andy informed me that there were still even more rides to do (for next year). ALL of the rides were spectacular and picturesque… it was as if I were riding through a storybook.
One thing that I love about travel is getting to know people that you may not otherwise have the opportunity to meet… and they truly are now lifelong friends.

We had a fantastic long weekend with Craig, Vicky and Andy. The trip genuinely exceeded our expectations. As well as guiding us on bike rides, the team took us to local restaurants and bars and were very welcoming.
We were keen to cycle up Ventoux and Craig expertly guided us up the mountain. The area has, however, a lot more to offer and the ride around the mountain with Andy (tour du Ventoux) was stunning.
We would have no hesitation in recommending Veloventoux

Just got back from a 4 night stay at veloventoux. Puymeras is a beautiful village, friendly and welcoming with a great bar serving good food which was well received after a days cycling. The apartments are excellent with a lovely outside area with the plunge pool so welcoming after a day's cycling. Having a fully stocked fridge and larder worked really well, giving flexibility for breakfasts allowing us an early start for our Cingles ride.
Craig, Vicky and Andy are great hosts, friendly with so much knowledge of the area, nothing was too much trouble. Our hire bikes were at the apartments when we arrived allowing us to get set up before our planned early start the following morning.
We found out the area has so much more to offer cyclists than the epic Ventoux with the '3 Cols' and 'Tour du Ventoux 'guided rides being fantastic routes. Craig and Andy are really good guides, letting us go at our own pace and knowing the best cafes, lunch stops and water fountains.
To sum it up, if you're thinking of a trip to cycle or even just visit the area, look no further than these guys, they really do know what they're doing and so friendly with it. Thanks for a great trip.

These guys are absolutely amazing. I’ve no words to explain just how nice Craig and Vicky are. The whole experience was breathtaking we were made to feel so welcome from start to finish. It felt more like visiting friends for 4 days than it did being on a cycling holiday. I can’t thank these guys enough for making us feel so relaxed and motivated to get out doing what we enjoy and seeing the sights. I highly recommend these guys if you’re considering cycling ventoux it’s an experience I’ll never forget.

Last year I was fortunate enough to do a month long road trip around France, along with my road bike in tow.
The high point of the entire month was without doubt my weeks cycling in the company of ‘ VeloVentoux ’, and the warm & generous hospitality shown to me by the lovely owners Craig & Vicky. The rides were brilliantly supported by their very knowledgeable and friendly road guide Andy. These guys seriously know how to do great cycling holidays and have literally decades of experience !.
The week was the stuff of dreams for me, as I had wanted to revisit the area and 'Mont Ventoux' for many years. Thanks to Craig, Vicky and Andy my weeks cycling was as close to perfection as its possible to achieve with stunning local routes on sublime roads ( particularly 'Les gorge de la nesque' ), a summit day on the Ventoux that I will never forget, excellent self catering accommodation with everything you could need, set in the charming village of Puymeras, cafe stops to warm your heart & taste buds in every town and village, plus the added bonus of September weather that was out of this world.
Sadly I couldn’t return this year due to personal circumstances, but I hope to return in 2025. For now all the photo’s and memories will always keep me going and always put a big smile on my face.
My sincere thanks & chapeaux to - Craig, Vicky and Andy for a week like no other, ‘pure magic’ is the only way to describe it. I can’t wait to go back.
P.S - Sorry for my extreme tardiness when it comes to admin in posting this very late review !.

We spent 4 days in Puymeres with Vicki , Craig and Andy and had a fantastic time. They are great hosts who looked after us all the way, booked restaurants, dropped us in Vaison for the afo and picked us up. As I wasn’t cycling I went with Vicki in the van the day Dave rode up Ventoux - such a great day! Accommodation was perfect and a generous breakfast supplied, plus a few beers for a thirsty cyclist.
