staying at B & B's is something new to my wife and I,. She has just retired and we are getting some time to relax and spread out. Not knowing exactely what to look for we are dependant on reviews by others, but we are finding out that some cannot be trusted. Depending on the mood of the traveler the... More

You would never know it was there, but when you get there you wonder how you could miss it. Even if the rooms weren't as homey and comfortable as they were or the owners weren't some of the nicest people I would still go back for the breakfast! We were the only guests for the two nights we stayed and... More

We stayed one night on a weekend foliage tour of New England. This B&B is in a very unique large brick Tudor-like house. You drive through the gate into the circular drive and are immediately impressed. The lobby and staircase have beautiful original woodwork and the large common areas have interesting architectural features. Our room was nicely decorated and faced... More

My husband & I stayed for a long getaway weekend to enjoy the fall foliage and relax. The inn was the perfect spot for our getaway. It is housed in an absolutely beautiful old mansion that is in excellent condition. The rooms are very nice, clean and comfortable. Cynthia and Dan, the owners, couldn't have been nicer. Not only did... More

Thank you for a wonderful long weekend! We loved the service & the surroundings ~ it was perfect for fall. So many quaint attractions & restaurants one would not consider unless they stayed here. We traveled from Albany, NY through 3 states avoiding highways. 2.5 hours & perfect drive! Looking forward to returning!!!

Me and my husband just stayed in the Manor View Suite for a short getaway after our wedding and everything about it was just perfect! Everything about the room was beyond relaxing. The Manor itself has a very relaxing atmosphere and all the little touches in the room really made us feel welcomed. The jacuzzi in the room is immaculate... More

We spent two nights here and the experience was truly charming. Cynthia and Dante were great company and served up an excellent - and different - breakfast each morning. And anyone with an architectural bent cannot but marvel at their home. Their recommendation of 150 Central for dinner was the icing on the cake! The Manor would make an excellent... More

Chimney Crest Manor was a beautiful historic mansion built in the late 1920s that is impeccably and tastefully decorated with period antiques. The innkeepers made us feel that we were the only guests in the B&B, even though there were other guests there. The personalized service and care of the innkeepers and staff was outstanding. We felt spoiled! The view... More

You might want to consider staying at Chimney Crest Manor instead. This is a wonderful, old country estate (formerly a boy's boarding school) with delightful innkeepers, Cynthia and Dan, who made us feel right at home. Our room was not luxurious, but it was very comfortable and homey. Our only complaint was the water, which took about 5 minutes to... More

My husband and I have stayed in several Bed and Breakfast establishments (Cape May and Philadelphia), and we thought we knew what to expect. Well, Chimney Crest Manor takes the B&B experience to a new level. Because it is situated at the top of a hill in Bristol, CT, you are surrounded by amazing New England countryside. We were warmly...
