MY fellow co-workers and I got to experience Collective Retreats Vail, in September. The tents were so cozy & clean. We headed to their lodge and had an outstanding farm to table dinner by chef Daniel. We savored every bite. Mikael and Yvette, were so nice and really took care of us. Great service, food and drinks in a beautiful ranch setting! We loved it! Mary,Irina,Tracey
My husband & I celebrated our anniversary recently at Collective Vail. It was delightful. The view from our luxury tent was beautiful. The chef's tasting menu with wine pairing was one of the best we've had. It was made even better by the amazing setting with a view. We rode horses the next day which added to the overall experience. The staff was very attentive, yet it felt very private. We loved it!
My husband and I visited for an early anniversary trip and had a wonderful time. I can’t say enough good things about the team and their hospitality. They were very responsive, polite, professional, and friendly. The dinners on property were A+ and the views and area were peaceful and gorgeous. We had a great time!
We recently visited Collective Vail / 4 Eagle Ranch and enjoyed our two-night stay immensely. We were visiting Denver and decided to extend our stay to see what "glamping" in Colorado was all about. So glad we did! Our activities included hiking and exploring the area, having coffee on our porch and feeling the morning sun warm our faces while horses grazed nearby, roasting s'mores and drinking wine around the campfire after dinner, getting to know interesting fellow guests, seeing shooting stars overhead late at night... it was magical. And we were especially impressed with the care and professionalism of the staff. Mickael made us feel welcome and comfortable and was always one text away from any questions or needs that arose. Chef Daniel was also an unexpected delight and we felt downright spoiled by his culinary skills. I'm still dreaming of the petite beet salad he served - and I don't even like beets! The entire tasting menu was magnificent. We plan to return and to explore the other properties of Collective Retreats in the future and so appreciate the service and care shown to us during our stay.…
My wife and I had an amazing time celebrating our 1-year anniversary at Collective Vail! I can't say enough good things: the food was amazing--ESPECIALLY the tasting menu--the activities were perfect, the scenery was unreal, and the amenities were great. We live in Denver and were able to completely disconnect while we were here; we practically felt like we were in another country. Great experience overall; we WILL be coming back!
We are local Coloradans and stayed here for our anniversary. The place has it almost all figured out, but there are a few things that definitely need improvement. The staff is amazing and works extremely hard and diligently. We really enjoyed our stay here and the staff made it even more enjoyable. If there was potable water in the tent, or at least a source to fill your water bottle, make coffee, and brush your teeth it would have been 5 stars. Also, we would have liked more food options. The food prices are outrageous and there are very few dining options, especially for breakfast. The amenities in the tent are perfect and high quality. The bed is very comfortable.
What a beautiful, relaxing vacation!! I HIGHLY recommend the Chef’s Tasting! Not only is the food unbelievable but it’s such a fun culinary experience!! We had the wine tasting to accompany our meal and I can’t give this enough praise!! Can’t wait to come back again!!
This would be a five star review if not for our misfortune of being there while a bachelorette party was there. First and foremost the staff was incredible! Amazing customer service they truly are there for all your needs/wants. The food is spectacular. We did the tasting menu and the grilling and both were great. Cocktails and wine also just awesome. The tents are beautiful and comfy. Waking up to the horses was magic. Again, the only problem we had was the very loud party at the bonfire until 1:00-2:00 in the morning. I was really shocked to see they didn’t have quiet hours as most places in nature do-if not for the guests then for the animals. I heard the staff asking them continuously to quiet down and they just didn’t/wouldn’t. So I would just say that establishing som quiet hours would be most helpful for all guests and the nature surrounding. Five star experience otherwise and highly recommend!…
Collective Vail provides a great experience. The property has amazing views, cool tents and outside dinning area. The entire staff was super nice and professional. The Chef’s Tasting Menu was legendary, so many courses, everything was excellent! Chef Daniel is a fantastic cook. The smoked old fashioned is so good.
My friends and I spent four days and three nights at Collective Retreats Vail this past weekend. Between the six of us, we booked three Journey tents. We were mostly frustrated with our experience due to the false advertising on the website. The website and the reservation office claims that vegan diets can be accommodated, but after booking, and several months later, planning our dining experience with the concierge, we found out that they did in fact not accommodate vegans because “the chef drew the line at vegan” when determining what diets to accommodate. The website also claims there are wood burning stoves and heating blankets in every tent, as well as wifi. There were no heated blankets, and only one of our three tents had a heater, but it was a propane heater, not wood burning stove. We found out when we arrived, the wifi hotspot hasn’t worked in years. All of the staff was very friendly, but we wish we had known that we would be driving off site for lunch and dinner every day and that we would be freezing every night. For the high price point, it just would have been nice to know ahead of time what you are getting for that kind of money. It would have been more worthwhile to go camping on our own, as this is advertised as “glamping” and it was definitely not that.…
