Great location for anything you want to do in Winter Park. Staff was very attentive and friendly. The provided breakfast was high quality and the coffee is awesome. Rooms were clean and spacious. Only downside (and this is a minor complaint) was the bed comfort. One neat aspect of this property is that it's partnered with Devil's Thumb Ranch, so you can head out there for a great dinner!
Clean, comfortable, friendly staff, coffee and fresh warm cookies downstairs throughout the day. Very welcoming feeling. Great location in the heart of Winter Park. Perfect for our tubing and snowmobiling trip!
I love this place!. The continental breakfast was perfect with coffee tea oatmeal bagels etc. The staff was friendly and the hotel is located right in town so everything is in walking distance. I came down with a cold during our vacation but it was perfect to put the do not disturb sign out and rest peacefully for a couple days. Also the availability of hot tea and honey at any time was such a great bonus. We got the king bed Room and the bed was super comfy and everything was clean. I also liked all the toiletries available. My only concern was that the shower water wasn't super hot but it wasn't bad enough to complain about considering all the other great perks of this place.
We were in the area for a September wedding so can't say what the room rate is during the busy winter season but off-season the rates were very good. For a hotel/lodge in the mountains this is a sold option. The rooms were clean and well kept. The design has more of a lodge feel but had what we needed for a two night stay. Check in and out was easy. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Noting fancy but a good option in the area that I would choose again if we stay in the area again.
Enjoyed our stay here and will be back. 2 floors, no elevator, there is a separate “motel style” block opposite the hotel. Really comfortable bed and pillows, nice, tasteful decor. Fridge only in the room, coffee making and drinks available at the reception where you can find other treats such as cookies and sweets. Breakfast is basic stuff but good, nice breakfast area. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. If I could change anything would be the sheets, this new micro fibre, shiny material which a lot of hotels seam to be using, made you feel so hot in bed, I would also put some net curtains up at the window. There is a roller blind but being on the ground floor and facing the car park, you felt you could not open them as would have no privacy. Lovely indoor pool and spa area. Hotel was very quiet, guests seemed to be very respectful of each other. We were really surprised that being on the ground floor we did not hear people above us or through the walls for that matter.…
