We recently took a trip to Winter Park and stayed in the Sundowner Motel. Rooms are spacious and very clean. Motel is in the perfect location in the Downtown of Winter Park. Everything is within a walking distance. It is very close to the ski area and getting there using free public transportation couldn't be easier. We had very friendly service...

We skied Winter Park and this motel was in a great location. About 2 miles to the mountain but right in the middle of town, we walked everywhere. The guy who checked us in was a bit rude and theirs was the only parking lot not plowed, but other than that it was clean and felt very safe. Would stay...

We stay up there whenever we come up to Winter Park. We were there for a night last month finally am sitting down to review. Clean rooms and good price. Close to everything in town which is nice because we like to leave our car parked and walk to places. Check in was easy

Taken into account that rates are very high (some bordering extortion) in December we found last minute one night accommodation here. Although the rooms are a bid outdated they were clean and had all the basics. There is a hot tub and swimming pool ( not heated) but do not expect much of a breakfast ( coffee and long life...

Nice clean rooms, great price, great location. We were on an extended trip with lots of luggage so the lack of an elevator was a bit troublesome. Very limited continental breakfast but a McDonald's across the street. Only stayed one night so didn't have a chance to use the pool or hot tub but they looked very nice. Refrigerator, microwave,...

We spent two nights here on Labor Day weekend and for the price couldn't have asked for anything more. We were able to walk everywhere in town in a few minutes, plenty of great places to eat and drink right next door or across the street. Would definitely recommend the Sundowner for a simple, clean, inexpensive room right in the...

This was my first visit here, so I didn't know what to expect. The clerk was nice and the room was okay, but some of the other guests were noisy and rude. I might stop again, just to compare the difference, but I was not impressed. The prices are a bit high for the quality of the room - but...

Very unfriendly at the front desk but the room was clean and bed was comfortable. For the price, it was fine but the staff needs an attitude check. Close to shopping, dining and a great walking town. No one to take my key or give me a receipt when I checked out so I left the key on the counter...

My son and I stayed here for one night as a cheap place to stay. One requirement I had was free breakfast. Well, it turns out that the owner "puts out some pastries" as he said and has some coffee, too. If you are more than a single occupant and want to eat breakfast, the Best Western is a better...
