This place is beautiful from the highway then you drive in and the roads are terrible. Restrooms (bath house)dirty. The picnic tables are big spools some of them half burned. This place hasn't seen tlc in years from the looks of it. No maintenance whatsoever. Glad we decided not to stay here. We went down the road to Purgatoire camp...

This is a very rustic camp spot with full hookups. Nicely located on a lake where they rent different kind of boats. The only real disappointment was that they would not allow us to take an infant out because apparently they don't keep life jackets for little ones. Bummer on a family vacation. The sites were pretty close to level...

Stayed in the hotel style lodge. Our view from our 2nd floor room with private balcony was outstanding. Room was sparse and bathroom small but very clean. The shower was nice and hot, everything clean, economy towels (we didn't come here for the towels!). The lake with the mountains dropping into it is beautiful. Fishing is great. We had a...

Unfortunately, the bathrooms and showers were filthy. As I showered I realized the water wasn't draining and I was up to my ankles in filth. It was clearly obvious that no real attention has been given to the bathrooms in a long time. For some reason this and most other campsites say they have clean facilties. The truth is they...

We went for a peaceful weekend with mother nature. Ended up being stuck in a crowded campground. I made reservations for 2 spots due to the size of our camper the spots are too small. The spots are too close together there's no privacy. Our neighbors weren't friendly and about 20 or more people in their spot. You couldn't fish...

Recently stayed for a family reunion. On several occasions family members came to our site to visit bringing their dogs. We were assessed a $250 fee for having an pet even though we did not bring one.

We stayed here over Memorial Day weekend. Not too crowded for a holiday. Rooms are clean and comfortable, but sparse on amenities. There is no cell phone or TV reception, so naturally, no TV in the room. Rooms have a wood burning fireplace, but you need to bring your own wood and if you're non-smokers like we are, bring something...

My family went here and rented a cabin with a cooktop. We have a small baby so I'm not up for tent camping yet. There are rats and chipmunks, but I went with the mindset of camping so I just brushed it off and keep the food put away in a sealed container. The hiking around the grounds and the...

My family has stayed here almost yearly every summer for as long as I can remember while camping. People comment about strict rules, well there are bears in the area. Keep food etc put away and no problems Shower house is old, but has hot water and small laundry area. For me and camping, it's just fine. Bad comments about...
