Exceptional customer service, attention to detail and the rooms are comfortable and well appointed. While I cannot speak to the price of the room(s), as we were there for business reasons, I *can* speak to the experience, and EVERYTHING about it was great! Special shout out to Sean, at the front desk, and the restaurant/bar staff was equally impressive. In addition, the location is in the heart of "Vail Village", so is walking distance to shops and ski lifts.
The property was full of unexpected amenities! The fd staff were knowledgeable and engaging. My room was beautiful, loved the tub, and had 2 bunk beds. The room was spacious with plenty of room to practice yoga in the morning. Check out the spa, fitness center, work space, and sloperoom/unravel when you go.... my mind was blown at all the offerings this place packs in! I will definitely come back with my family!
My husband wanted to stay in Vail Village so we spent the extra$$ and stayed one night at Gravity Haus. What a disappointment. The bed was the worst hotel bed we have ever slept on. They should be ashamed of themselves. The bed sagged and we spent the night struggling not to roll to the middle. They had put one of those egg crate type of foam pads on the bed. You know the kind your grandmother put on the bed to try to make it more comfortable. Yuck! What a terrible experience.
We first stayed at the Gravity Haus in Breckinridge, it was amazing! We booked in Vail hoping it would be as good. The hotel is located in a great location to walk to many things! The room was really nice, not as modern as the Breck location. The staff was not at all friendly or welcoming.
We stayed 2 years ago, before Gravity Haus took over, making may great changes, particularly to the lobby, downstairs lounge development and introdution to working pods. The staff were just superb througout (although am excluding the slope room) We remembered the room as it was, super comfy and it is great to have the fireplace. After 4 days they kindly moved us to a bigger room as we were satying so long and needed a bit of space. The whole frobt team could not have been nicer and more helpful and friendly. We will definitely return, a few gripes to do with the Slope room but I won't dwell on these as the manager is aware and apologised, other than to say breakfast belies the fitness vibe of the hotel as it has no healthy food like cereals, oatmeal, porridge, muesli or granola served. Only hot food.We made our own cereal in the room. A shame.…
Just returned from a short stay at Gravity Haus. We’ve stayed several times before when this was Vail Mountain Lodge and I was curious to see the changes. The main lobby, restaurant and fitness area have all seen upgrades but rooms are the same which is fine by me as the rooms are super cozy and comfortable. We were super impressed by the service here - 5 stars! We showed up early to ski and they stored our luggage since the room wasn’t ready and had it in our room when we got back from skiing. I had mentioned at check-in that it was my husband’s birthday and they had a complimentary bottle of champagne in our room! Nice touch. We look forward to staying here again in the future.
I booked a specific bedding 3 bedroom to accommodate my family and confirmed the specific room name and type three times with Isabel at the front desk so i would not have a problem on a busy holiday weekend with my large family. when i arrived they told me they had e the room i booked to someone else but they could put me in a smaller roll that did not have enough bedding for my family and was not what i booked. They offered to give me a refund which didn't help since there's were no hotels open in Vail. BE CAREFUL and DONT BOOK THIS HOTEL.
Love the vibe here and the staff is amazing. You can feel that this is a different type of boutique hotel, killer restaurant and coffee (restaurant called Slope Room/Unravel is the coffee inside the restaurant), and while the gym and spa is under renovation I had a sneak peak and it looks really cool. Looking forward to coming back when its open (staff says it will be open in December 2021). The hotel is in Vail Village but its on the edge of the village just down from the covered bridge.
Our stay at Gravity Haus Vail surpassed our expectations. When we walked into the hotel room, it felt like we were tucked away in the mountains but still had fluffy robes to wrap up in, We had a hand-written note greeting us with snacks to wish us a warm welcome. We didn't have to venture far for food, as the restaurant and coffee shop were right downstairs and everyone we encountered greeted us with a smile. When we did leave the hotel, we didn't have to go far as the location is in the heart of Vail village. Already booked my next stay.
We stayed in the switchback family suite. Two sets of bunkbeds and a king - two separate rooms - with two bathrooms. First of all, it is located on what I would call a basement level. Not a lot of natural light at all. The doors in both bathrooms would not close and the doorknobs on both doors were broken. We had to call for an ironing board as the room only had an iron. The remote to the TV was busted upon arrival - which they quickly fixed. Would I stay here again? Probably not due to location of the hotel (not overly central) and due to the basement feel of the suite.
