Family owned and it shows. This is the best place to stay in Colorado bar none! We've stayed here now 5 times and have never been disappointed. If you like a place located in the best section of Vail and be treated like family then stay here.
Perfect location, wonderful room and a quick walk to Vail Village. We slept well. Hotel has a Minnesota connection which we love. You can walk right out the door to a wonderful walking path. Staff was friendly & helpful. Bed was comfortable as well. I would definitely stay here again.
We stayed at the lodge and loved it. Our room was huge and had a view of everything. The staff was courteous and made sure we had everything that we needed. One favorite part was the shower. It had two head to rain down water as well as 4 midsection blasters. The towels had a heated rack and the mirror was heated so you can put on make up with out having to air the bathroom out. Another major thing we liked was the tower fan that was provided with the room. All the small things added up to be a great stay with Tivoli. Thanks!
We had to cancel our trip due to unforeseen circumstance about 4 days before our reservation in May 2022, which is the off-season. The person my husband spoke with at Tivoli Lodge did not care at all and refused to give any refund or credit towards future stay. We lost entire cost of hotel. Typically when something like this happens, hotels with better customer service will try to accommodate in some way. Really anything would have been appreciated. We will be coming to Vail in the future, but we will not be staying at Tivoli Lodge. If you value customer service, I recommend staying away from this place based on this experience.
We were looking forward to this trip and doing some mountain hiking and summer activities. Unfortunately, mother nature had other plans and they are anticipating up to two feet of snow at the end of may WOW! So we were highly disappointed and we explained everything to the manager on duty and he was unsympathetic about the situation and didn't offer us any refund on the stay at all even though our plans had to be changed. I think in this day and age especially post covid that hotels would be a little more accommodating he didn't even offer to give credit for a future stay, in fact, said he couldn't do that. Not being able to and not wanting to are two different things and I know management has more control than this guy acted like he had. Highly disappointed in the way this hotel handled this and wouldn't recommend staying at a location with such unsympathetic management staff.…
Friendly staff and facility was very clean. Only problem was with a bathtub that didn’t have a functioning drain stopper and handle on bathroom door needed repair. Would recommend staying here. Close to everything.
Great location, wonderful and homey lobby, walk to everywhere fun and cool in Vail in just 5 to 15 minutes, including the ski station. I loved this location and the room was super comfortable. if you have the money to spend, just book this place!
I wish Tivoli Lodge would include the resort fees into their room rates. The resort fees are purportedly to pay for non-essential services such as membership in a Fitness Spa, winter apres, bike rentals, Peloton, etc. I explained that I would not be using the services and did not want to pay for these services, and was told that I couldn't decline resort fees and therefore had to pay the fees to stay there. This led to an extra $149 charge to my stay, which was thankfully only 3 days. If the resort is charging resort fees for services that CANNOT be declined, then these fees should be wrapped into the advertised room rate. Otherwise, a customer should be allowed to decline fees for services that they do not use. Oddly enough, some of the services that the fee covers include wifi, fax, and Athletic Club use... which the Guest Manual in our room states are complimentary. If these services are complimentary, why do they charge an additional fee for them? That's not complimentary. I don't appreciate additional fees for non-essential services that cannot be declined. That's a scam. Should be wrapped into the advertised room rate. If you can look past this, the Lodge is well-placed in Vail Village, very close to Gondola One and great restaurants. The staff were polite and attentive, although they would not entertain the thought of holding off on the resort fees.…
Everybody is rude, the ambionce of the hotel is not good sice all the staff looks ungry all the time. The general manager and the reception manager do not know about service, they are only looking for money, and they do not care for the customers, They best word is MONEY, MONEY, MONEY and they forgot SERVICE! Yoy can find much bests options in Vail for the same price but with a great service and and a friendly and helpul staff. We do not recommend this hotel at all.
