we especially loved the room with a fireplace and mountain view and king bed - we also loved the Lobby with the fireplace and cozy surroundings - we enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit. the staff was friendly and the location was perfect - we will return to vail and stay at the Tivoli in both winter and summer - the flowers in Vail are spectacular in the summer

The Tivoli Lodge is fabulous. The services and amenities, with the location, combine for a great Vail experience. Easy walking distance to restaurants, shops, and night life. Close to the gondola for trips up the mountain. The staff attentive, personable, and efficient.

Tivoli Lodge has a beautiful exterior, the finest materials and workmanship in construction and hard working employees. We checked in to beautiful room with a fireplace and great view but the safe didn’t work (needed to be replaced), the fireplace didn’t work (needed a new ignition module), there was no one available to pour wine in the lobby (had to search for someone) and the breakfast needed to be retrieved from the lobby. The stated reason was that they were short handed. They still charged as though the services were available even though they weren’t.

Response from Jarred Bryant, General Manager at Tivoli Lodge

Dear SHolmes1941 - Thank you for taking the time to review your recent stay with us. I wanted to address your feedback that was given and to give some more context on each point given. 1) Fireplace had a battery go out and needed to be replaced. This was fixed within 5 minutes of your report by our maintenance team. 2) Unfortunately, we do not staff a lobby bartender for a shift to pour one glass of wine. But our Front Desk Agent was happy to assist with a glass of wine. This was less than 5 min. 3) Our breakfast is a "Grab and Go" as it states across all verbiage in the hotel. This was confused with a "Order and Deliver" which isn't a service we provide. We apologize for any confusion during your stay. But rest assured we had someone able to assist you within minutes of any challenges you faced. Thank you for staying with us and good luck on all future endeavors. Respectfully - Jarred

We met the owner of this hotel upon our last visit 2 weeks ago. A very sweet sophisticated woman who lost her husband this year during Covid. She and her husband built this hotel back in the early 2000s. It is beautiful, well done inside, all alder trim and alder doors. We come to Vail about four or five times a year. This is where we always stay. You will not be disappointed.

Great front desk and valet parking experience! Luxiourious digs, an aspen tree right outside our Room 309. Our pre-ordered breakfasts were great. Shower, linens, maid servce, bed, AC (yes AC, at least in our room) all top notch. Walking distance to everywhere! Pls don't expect such a great place to cost a budget $. Pay the $$$ and live the life! We went from the Betty Ford Gardens, to the Sunday farmer's market, all the way to Garfinkels. Did a custom Jeep tour up to 11,000 feet. Was there for 3 days for a destination wedding. Tip: If you want to party like your youth, go to The George. (lol).
