My husband and I had a lovely stay at this hotel. The staff was very attentive and our room had a fireplace, large space and delightful patio space outside. The location is idea and we walked a long the river into Lionshead town center as well as the center of Vail. There is a lovely pub area and outdoor seating.... More

I spent 3 nights here and I am enjoying the wonderful view and being near the lionshead village. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room is cozy and clean. The desing of the room gives you the feeling of the mountains. The rates are reasonable and affordable. To complete the experience, they have a fire pit on from... More

No surprise that a Marriott in Vail is quite nice. We had a Timberline Suite with living room and kitchenette (no stove) area separate from bedroom. Very very nicely appointed. Marriott staff is always top notch. Only possible negative is that the hotel is a little far from central Vail village. And only as a matter of personal taste, the... More

Great location. Comfortable beds. Room had a fire place. Atmosphere pleasant. Staff was very friendly. Valet parking. You could public park but it was about a 10 minute walk. Nice toiletries. Quite and clean. Had a nice restaurant.

The best part of this Marriott are the people. From the minute you drive up you get the feeling you are very much appreciated. Nice property located in a very compact area. Property, is well maintained and just off Lionshead circle. Rooms are nice size, and clean. Bed and pillows provide right level of support for sleeping. Restaurant provides a... More

Very nice, clean hotel with spacious rooms and bathrooms. We were on the 4th floor without much of a view, but it was still quite pleasant. On check-in you'll get chits for a couple of Starbuck's coffees from the 2nd floor baristas. There's a nice bar - sort of small- that serves a good cocktail. Parking is by valet. There... More

Went for a conference at Vail Marriott Mountain Resort. As you will figure out, Vail is a packed place. This resort is in Lionshead. In town bus stops by front lobby. "Upgrade" to condo from suite was horribly disappointing. Inconveniently tiny bathroom with tub/shower and toilet. Small bedroom with very poor outlet access. Nice staff, dated property. Would not return.

I attended a conference at this hotel. My only need was a good wifi connection which I was prepared to pay $15 for per night. However one is confronted with an extra $35 + tax for 'resort fee' which is essentially internet access with a few % concessions on spa treatment and bike rental, use of suncream and board games.... We stayed here for five nights. It is not one of Marriott's better properties. ROOM: we had a mountain view room. The room was a generous size, but very dated and smelled musty and my husband described it as "B.O." We also had a problem keeping the room cool. We had the thermostat set low, but couldn't get the temp... More
