We were very happy to stay at Manor Vail for the second time. The location is great if you have kids in ski school. Unfortunately, Golden Peak ski school was closed for the rest of the season when we were there, so we had to trek to Lionshead every morning, but that is no fault of the folks at Manor Vail. We love the friendly and helpful staff, the grab and go breakfast, the ski valet, the heated pool and hot tubs and the convenience of having a kitchen in the room.
Excellent location, close to lifts. Wonderful views from the room and balcony, amenities, kitchen, fireplace. Feels like home. Pools and hottubs and good too. Would be great to have sauna and steamroom open, though.
This is the fifth time we’ve stayed at Manor Vail. The location and accommodations are unbeatable. This time it was just me and the wife. A studio worked out perfectly for us. I should also mention that even with COVID restrictions the breakfast was really good.
My wife and I and another couple and their 3 children stayed at the Manor Vail 3/31/21 - 4/3/21. Fantastic property - ideal location for skiing. We stayed in unit 382 -- beautiful! The lodge is at the base of Lift 6, less than 100 yards from the resort - rarely crowed, great access to the hill. The Manor has ski valet service -- no carrying your skis back-and-forth -- very important. Only issue with resort is that walking from the lobby or restaurant to our room via interior hallways is incredibly complicated, requiring going up and down stairs multiple times. Walking outside is simple to navigate anywhere. We needed to leave very early (5:30am) Sunday morning to travel to the airport -- the hotel provided to-go hot breakfast sandwiches for our trip -- amazing! We reserved our rental skis via Christy Sports Door-To-Door service. We arrived at 8PM Wednesday and Christy's met us in the lobby, on-time. They brought along skis, boots (my wife and I brought our own boots) and poles and facilitated the fitting in very friendly, professional and efficient manner. Top quality equipment! I went to the Christy store at the base of Gondola One after the first day of skiing and traded-out my skis to try another model -- again, fantastic service and great quality equipment. I've used Christy's multiple times and I'm an HUGE FAN! I highly recommend Manor Vail and Christy Sports!…
I stayed with my family for a few days during a ski trip. The location is perfect, about 50 yards from a chairlift that gives you easy access to the entire mountain. It is also a very short walk, 3 minutes, to the center of town with all the restaurants and shops. The condo was very comfortable with 2 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms and with a beautifully appointed living room, dining room and kitchen. The hot tub and pool were very warm and always available. No reservation is needed. People were respectful and responsible. The staff was always available with a smile. House keeping was provided daily. Take out breakfast was great. One could choose from eggs, bacon, sausages, pastries, fresh fruits, pancakes, yogurt and cereals and take everything to the condo. The condo did not have a washer and drier, but there may be one in the building.…
