We stayed here one night on our road trip out west. It was a clean, large room in a great location. An affordable family stay in a beautiful mountain town! We did not stay long enough to walk around town but we did walk along the mountain stream that was in the back the hotel.
One night here while traveling across Colorado. It is mud season and things are quiet but the service was still excellent and the place in great shape. Few restaurants open in the Village but an excellent restaurant right in the lobby of the hotel.
If anyone has ever stayed in Vail during peak ski season you know that most hotel prices are at least $500+ a night. I booked 6 months early for $299 a night an it turned out to be a good deal. No the hotel is not of five star standards but it is perfectly fine for its location and decent standards. The lobby is huge and very relaxing and the folks at the front desk offer superb friendly. The rooms are very big and spacious and after skiing myself to exhaustion every day I never had a bad nights sleep. Also the free close parking is an absolute treat. All things considered I look forward to my next Vail ski trip!
How nice the check in manager was, that is the only good thing I can say about this place. Coffee mugs were very dirty, bathroom sink wall had smear of some type of toothpaste or unknown goop on it. Small ants were all over the bathroom tile floor. And if you like sleeping on a bed that feels like the floor then you will certainly like sleeping here! Not coming back here.
This was the only place that was affordable when we booked late. It is three star they say but $460 a night for this junky place is way too much. Room has not been updated in years complete with small TV. The heating element in bathroom doesn’t work. One elevator doesn’t work. The hot tub is broken until later in the morning on many mornings. There should not be broken things during ski season. The beds are terrible and we see many rooms open with beds tossed up against walls as they are being replaced. The back door to the basement outside is never locked for security purposes. Not going to stay here again.
great costumer service. Location is good. only one elevator is working and that creates problem. the hot tube inside. you still need a shuttle to go to the gondola. Walking takes at least 15 minutes. there is nice bar in the first floor. make sure understand they only have coffe and few bars and fruits for breakfast.
We stayed there prior to my wife's surgery. It's right next door to the hospital. It's not fancy, but for Vail it's reasonably priced. The staff was helpful. The sports bar serves a pretty good burger and the Indian-Nepali restaurant looks interesting. The workout room was clean and well maintained. I think the masking policy could have been a little stronger. All in all, okay.
I had high hopes for this location, as it was located in Vail, CO. However, the hotel and rooms were just tired and sad. I was traveling with a tour group and I am sure other hotels in the area are outrageously expensive, but this one definitely needs some updated!
Very old hotel however not bad for staying in peak season in vail. Definitely don’t expect much! However, the service is wonderful. Staff is great! Elevator broke once while there, hot tub is indoor and large, very nice. Two restaurants on site which was convenient although the bar and grill gets very packed and no seating during dinner hours. Waking distance to shuttle which was nice. Again, decent stay for our purpose but not sure we’d do this one again.
The rooms are outdated but the location made up for the quality of the room. We were right in the middle of everything. The staff was friendly and accommodating. They put a boot on my nephew’s car and made him pay $40 to park even though he stayed in the same hotel as we did.
