We absolutely adored our stay at the Wren. Perfect location - a quick walk to Vail Village by the creek or on the road -- steps from Betty Ford Park and the Alpine Gardens. Great apartment with comfortable bed and well equipped kitchen. We hope to return.

The Wren runs very frequent shuttles to Golden Peak from which one can access all of Vail’s slopes. Our unit, no. 409 was handsomely furnished, had a fair amount of food essentials, olive oil, salt, pepper, sugar, coffee, soaps etc; so one did not have to furnish provisions from scratch. Views extended toward the slopes; the bedroom faced the rear, and, at times during the night, truck traffic was disturbing. I would definitely recommend the condo we stayed in if you are thinking of skiing Vail.

The location was wonderful! It's situated right along Gore Creek and next door to Betty Ford Alpine Gardens with lots of walking paths available. It's not very close to restaurants or supermarkets. There are heated hot tubs and a heated outdoor pool on site. The unit was nice. The bed was very comfortable. There was no salt or pepper in the kitchen, so I was glad I had brought my own. At the supermarkets in Vail, you need to bring your own bags or you are charged for each bag. The Wren provided a cloth bag for my use which I really appreciated!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Wren. It’s extremely close to the Vail ski resort, and has very well equipped kitchens. Both the pool and a hot tub were very nice, and well-maintained, as were the other common areas. Having a Murphy bed in the unit was a pleasant surprise. You are a bit close to I-70, so you do get some road noise, especially when you are in the pool or hot tub. The rooms themselves, while very comfortable, could use a bit of a refresh, especially the pull out couch. I would stay there again. .

Overall, our stay at the Wren was nice. The location was convenient with frequent shuttle service to the Golden Peak lift every morning and at the end of day. The location was a nice leasurely walk to and from Vail Village apres ski in winter boots along the creek trail but would not be a comfortable walk in ski boots to and from the ski area. Unfortunately, our fireplace did not work but we were told that a part was on back-order. The Dish satellite spontaneously disconnected on day 2, but the after-hours attendant walked us through the process to reset the AV system. The kitchen lacked a large skillet, but we made due with the stew pot to fry some bacon. The property was daated and our sleeper couch had tears that were duct taped. The property was quiet and the staff…

Our stay at the Wren was overall not bad. Unit was nice and clean. Location along Gore Creek is lovely. Parking was an issue bc we had two cars with us and the manager got more than a little excited about it. Vail itself was as if Walt Disney built a ski resort and then had the Gestapo run it. Restaurants running at 25% capacity, security telling you to put your mask on between sips of coffee, random strangers yelling across parking lots (outside!) from a hundred feet away about masks. Insanity. Most likely won’t visit again.

We have stayed in a lot of properties and found very little about the Wren that we didn't like. The covered parking is a huge plus and you are assigned a spot so you never have to search for one. The one bedroom has a fold-out couch for guests and there are two full bathrooms with tubs and showers. The kitchen is roomy and is well stocked. One little thing makes a difference, and for me it was that they had both coffee cups and mugs. I love having a mug for my coffee that holds enough that it doesn't get cold in a few minutes. I needed a mixer and the front desk had one available for me. The bed is comfortable and the patio overlooks Gore Creek. We loved the hot tub although we found it way too hot. It was probably 103°, which in the summer/early fall is really hot. The…

We arrived in Vail without a place to stay and thankfully the Wren had availability. the front desk staff was more than helpful and friendly. The location is only a 10-15 minute walk to the main shopping area of Vail. The building is in a perfect location overlooking the river. The 3 bedroom condo was very spacious and nicely decorated. No complaints at all and would stay here again.

My family really enjoyed our accomodations at the The Wren. It is an older property, but it seems to have been maintained very well and is improving. I was told the fire pit area was all new and there is a nice community room with couches TV and shuffleboard table. The furniture in our unit was very nice, new and comfortable, and the kitchen was in great shape. The pool and hot tubs were wonderful, kids had a blast swimming with snow piled up just feet away. We also appreciated the underground parking. Is it a bit of a walk to the lifts? Probably about 15 mintues to Golden Peak lifts (no need to walk all the way to the gondala), probably longer if you were wearing ski boots, but that's why I just wear regular shoes and throw my stuff in a locker when I get there. On…

It feels like the Wren is holding on by a shoe string. The ski shuttle is not a priority as far as I could tell. They say it's only a 5 minute walk but it is really 30 to the Gondola, up and down the stairs of the parking garage. In ski boots this is a bit much to start the day! And they ONLY run a shuttle for ski hours which means you are walking back and forth to dinner. Which I didn't mind because I like the exercise but if you are tired from a day on the slopes there is NO food near by. Staff was rude. Their offices don't open until 8am and they seemed put out when we had a question about our departure before this time. You can do better! We were trying to save a buck as Vail is expensive. It's worth paying a little extra. The Wren is on its way out. I am only so frank as I…
