We enjoyed a week at the Wren, using it as a base to explore Vail and other parts of the area. The accommodations were very good, with a view of the mountain, and it was just a 10 minute walk into the heart of Vail. This was a great location for day trips to Aspen, Leadville, and some of the high mountain passes still covered in deep snow. While we didn't take advantage of the Wren's amenities because of our plans, it all seemed very family friendly.

My family of 5 recently stayed at the Wren on our first Vail vacation. The facilities are excellent, clean, modern, and easy walking distance to downtown Vail by following the walking path along Gore Creek. Our condo was on the second floor overlooking Gore Creek and with a beautiful view of the snow-capped mountains (in June). We had a one bedroom (with King Bed) on the second floor that had 2 full spacious bathrooms, very well stocked kitchen and a large living area with pull out couch and a gas fireplace which was wonderful. Since there were 5 in our group, we actually rented two similar condos. When the reservation was made, I was assured that the two condos would be adjacent. However, when we arrived, we learned that they had switched one of the rooms to the

The Wren is a very nice resort. My only complaint is the noise from the interstate. Try to stay in a unit that faces the river, so the noise is minimized. This was our second 4th of July at the Wren. We went in 2017, and were able to enjoy the fireworks at both Avon (the biggest in CO and on July 3rd) and we laid in the soccer fields across from the resort for the fireworks in Vail on the 4th. However, in 2018 the fireworks were shutdown due to fire fears. The best thing about Vail is the river! Rent some bikes and ride the trails all through the village. Then take them up the Gondola and ride them down the mountain. It's a blast!! Also there is some hiking you can do at the top of the mountain, if you are not on bikes, so the Gondola ride to the top is a must in the summer. My

Wren is very professional. The resort sent me an email of detail information about the resort and other information we might need during our stay such as activities available and restaurants around the area. The check-in is flawless especially since we arrived late. The location was great. Walking distance to Vail downtown. I am glad David told me the scenic walk to the town proper. We loved walking in the covered bridge along the creek. We also like their quick service. We had a problem with our fireplace and I called the front desk. Within 15 minutes, the maintenance guy was there to fix it. We also like the Wren since they didn't harass us in going to any timeshare talk. This is the plus +++.

Exceptional stay. The staff go the extra mile to ensure your stay is great. I also liked the houskeeping service during my stay. The unit location is easily within walking distance to most of Vail's atractions.
