The sight and sounds of Vail's signature mountain stream create the perfect setting for cozy winter breakfasts, tranquil summer fly fishing or peaceful nighttime slumber. This beautiful private home is situated along the banks of Gore Creek, the sparkling ribbon that weaves through Colorado's premier outdoor destination. A hearty breakfast is served each morning during the ski season, and a lighter fare is offered in the summer.

Absolutely Charming! We have stayed at the Alpine Creek B & B in Vail Co. each ski season now for the past 5 years. This is without a doubt the best way to enjoy Vail. A few highlights include, the delicious gourmet breakfasts, generous portions of healthy foods with lots of fruits and fresh berries served with guest dietary accommodations. The beautiful Gore Creek setting is the view out the back patio. It's location is ideal, away from the busy hub of the Villages, yet 5-10 minutes by bus to Lionshead Gondola-Eagle Bahn &/or Vail Village. Lastly we can not say how awesome the OWNERS Trudie & Rick have always been! A bonus is the delightfully informative Innkeeper, Kelsea. She's extra overqualified & has a gracious and passionate heart. We have been treated amazingly well and we will keep going back. These are photos of a few delicious items served & the lovely cookies and hot cocoa served after skiing! Thank you Dr. David & Mrs. Robinson

We just left today (21 June 2018) after spending our 50th Golden Anniversary at this lovely B and B hosted by Trudie the owner. We chose this B and B based on all the great reviews and what a great choice. My wife and I were so pleased with our stay and everything was perfect. I am a retired Air Force Colonel and after all our travels with 17 assignments I am quiet picky. The reviews explain things in great detail so I will not repeat. After eating downtown in Vail we came back to find a beautiful Anniversary card on our bed from Trudie. This lady is an angel in disguise. Enough said— you will not be disappointed.

This is the first year that Trudie, the owner of Alpine Creek has been hosting guests herself. Although she's owned it for 25 years, she's always had innkeepers and we were so lucky to have her looking after us! She was so warm, friendly and a really wonderful cook - every breakfast was different and delicious (we were there for 6 nights) and kept us going all day long, meaning we barely had to stop for a ludicrously priced lunch on the mountain. We really enjoyed her company and I couldn't have asked for a more considerate hostess when I was sick from the altitude early in the stay. Trudie went out of her way to look after me! The house itself is lovely. There are just 2 rooms, so it's very intimate. Our room was spacious and extremely comfortable and had a lovely outlook over the creek and up the mountain. Having breakfast upstairs in the living room was a treat - it's a gorgeous room, with a fantastic view. The room was spotless when we arrived and we appreciated the little touches, like plentiful free bottled water. Getting to the slopes was easy as the free bus stopped right outside the house and Lionshead is only a few minutes away. On the way home, the bus stops just around the corner from the property (though if you wanted to, you could wait a couple of minutes and get the next bus, which would take you right back to the front of the house again). It was always nice to come back to a warm place and have a mug of cocoa and a fresh baked cookie by Trudie! This place was really incredible value for money. If you are looking for comfortable accommodation, a top-rate breakfast and a warm and lovely hostess a few minutes from the slopes and town, I really couldn't recommend this place enough! Thank you again Trudie - we had a great time with you and can't wait to come and stay again next time we're in Vail! You and Rick are always welcome in Norway!

Well, we hit the jackpot once again. When browsing rates for conventional lodging in Vail, prices were beyond belief. I mean, all my wife and I need are a safe, comfortable place to sleep, a hot shower, and easy access to skiing. No wish to pay several hundred dollars a night — or even over a thousand (the lowest rates at many Vail venues). So I Googled B&Bs in Vail — there is apparently just one in Vail proper: Alpine Creek. Nightly rate was way lower than the lowest hotel rates on Orbitz and Expedia and the website description was impressive, so I booked immediately, five months in advance of our planned President’s Week stay. Right call — in spades. This is a wonderfully immaculate home with comfortable sleeping quarters, and gourmet breakfasts creatively prepared by our wonderful hostess, Trudy. (Husband Rick is fun to spend time with as well, if you are lucky enough to catch him when he is not back home attending to his dental practice.). The shuttle bus to Lion’s Head gondola (slightly less than 10 min.) and Vail Village (slightly more) stops right out front (the Cascade Village access lift — no lines — is even closer). Next trip to Vail, no question this will be our choice once again. [Bonus Tip: Inexpensive dining — relative, of course — do exist in Vail. Here are our recommendations, all easy access from Alpine Creek. Note that most of these offer great craft brews, always our preference: Vail Ale House (West Vail); Red Lion (Vail Village); Pazzo’s Pizza (Vail Village); Garfinkle’s (Lion’s Head); Vail Brewing Company (great brews, just added food from an adjacent restaurant); and the Mexican place in the basement of the Transit Center.] ... Oh, yeah, the skiing Feb 19-24 was absolutely fabulous, best of their season to that point.

Trudy (owner) was very friendly and loving. The place was beautiful and clean. Sleeping at night was very comfortable in her soft sheets and bedding . Rooms had their own private bathroom which was very convenient . Plus , she fed us hot breakfast every mornings! I would highly recommend Apine Cree B&B! 👍⛷🏂🎿🌸🌹👌
