The good: nice enough pool and spa. Cookies on weekends. Lots of cable TV channels. Bus stop just outside door. The bad: worn out gym equipment, average condo appointments. Noisy from I70 traffic. Not a relaxing place due to the noise. Also the smell of the pizza shop in the basement is slightly cloying and annoying.

We checked in yesterday and are still here. I look at the pics of Vail Run on their website and this is not even close to what a 1 bedroom looks like. No matter what the mgr. says a 1 bedroom is a studio at best and should be advertised as such. Also their is indoor parking and we still... More

There is nothing fancy about this resort. Just a great place with personable staff members at a very good price. We did not look for a place with all the amenities, because we planned on being out and about hiking, biking, and exploring all the nearby mountains and trails. It is situated within minutes of great restaurants, shopping, and major... More

Stayed in a two bedroom unit using RCI points. We had 4 adults and two children and plenty of space. Three twin beds in one room and a queen in the other - two pull out sofas offered additional sleeping space but we brought a cot for our youngest child. Only downside was it had just one shower. Kitchen was... More

For my fourth time I stayed at the VR. This time only with friends... (Been there with family before). The room was one of the duplex at the 5th floor. Huge. For 6 guys, everyone got his own bed. The building is old, but totally functional. A pizza bar in the first floor... Which is super good. Big pool heated, jacuzzi... More

We read the reviews and booked this place based on location and value. A simple hotel room in the village would have been more than double the price with no ability to make meals or lounge on anything other than beds. This place was perfect! A great value compared to other lodging in Vail. The one bedroom with 3 beds... More

Stayed for a week skiing and the shuttle bus was invaluable. The driver Ben, and front desk Carol could not have done more for us. Will definitely consider using Vail Run in future. We had use of a 1 bed condo, with sliding screen between lounge area. Plenty of room for a family but would only be limited privacy.

All of the staff were friendly and helpful. Free coffee, hot chocolate and cider. I was a little worried about the location being out of the immediate resort area but they had free shuttles running and even offered shuttles to local grocery store. Atmosphere of lobby was nice with atrium. Good pool & hot tub. Pool had an indoor entry... More

The entire staff at Vail Run Resort could not have accommodated us any better. I would highly recommend this place to stay. It has a great hot tub, pool, work out room, and they will drive u to & from the slopes. The rooms were exceptionally clean, and the housekeeping staff was always on call if you needed them. Each... We stayed for a week on a timeshare exchange in a 1 bed apartment. We found it very clean and well equipped. The heated outdoor pool and hot tub were most appreciated after a day's skiing.
