I was going to give you 3, but the smiles earned yall 4. I felt it fair, as Brookhaven… just made me feel like a friend staying in his house, opposed to a customer at the Days Inn….. to delete a review and give another. You all have completely turned this around. I could critique…. quantify every mistake, and do it by the minute. However, I didnt come here to have my butt kissed, ( which yall also do quite well 😂 .) I came to feel at home. Mission accomplished my friends. Its gotten cold outside again but its still very warm inside The Lodge at Vail….. pun intended. Oh, and save that Mr. Currie ‘ish. My friends call me Eddie 😉

Brant Marott and his staff were excellent. Even though this was between seasons in Vail (October 2021) the staff was able to direct us to great food and activities. Our room, a mini-suite was fantastic. Very modern, recently updated, beautiful view of the ski mountain. We traveled with our dog, a 50+ pound labradoodle and he was welcomed by the staff and other guests. I would highly recommend the Lodge at Vail for your next Colorado trip.

Dear stephenkS7086XO, Thank you for choosing The Lodge at Vail and for taking the time to provide feedback about your experience. I would like to start by personally apologizing to you for not meeting your expectations in regards to cleanliness and our Spa. We looked into the phone issue at the Spa, and you are correct that our phones were not working properly. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. I feel terrible that you missed out on a spa treatment and I would like to offer you a spa treatment on us during your next visit, which you can set up directly through me via email. I hope you will give our resort and company a chance to prove that your unsatisfactory experience was an exception. Again, thank you for contacting The Lodge at Vail and if I can be of assistance to you, please contact me via email or directly at 9707547811. I stayed at the Lodge at Vail resort for 2 nights August 10-11 together with my sister and friend. It is an excellent hotel, the Location is fabulous within walking distance to the Village and all the stores , restaurants and the gondola The staff is very professional, especially the lady Concierge who helped us quite a bit giving us all kinds of tips and directions. . We had an issue with Booking.com which made the reservation for one king bed instead of two queens which is what we originally requested, however the hotel was very accommodating and changed the reservation and gave us two queen beds. Breakfast st Cucina at the hotel was super nice I highly recommend the hotel restaurant, Elway’s steakhouse , we ate there twice and the food was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this hotel

The Lodge has been a wonderful experience. The accommodations and views have been breathtaking. There is access to many areas within walking distance and they have been welcoming each time we enter the front. I requested a mini fridge for allergy-friendly foods and was accommodated well without charge. The daily fee for internet and access to the steam room and gym is $35 and valet by the day is $50. There is access to a garage for parking. However, the ease of valet made it worth it especially due to a whole crew visiting.

The reason for a 4 instead of 5 star review is the $50/day valet parking. You can pay $35/day if you're willing to walk five minutes to a public parking lot. I was originally assigned room 133 - right in front of where the valet parking is - a dark room with no privacy. I asked for another room and without a hassle was assigned room 246 - a difference between night and day! The room had a king size murphy bed, a fireplace (not that I used it), a kitchen and full refrigerator (some large rooms have a small under counter refrigerator and separate freezer), and a big balcony overlooking the town. Service was excellent - the toilet did not flush and maintenance was there to fix it within 5 minutes. All staff we dealt with were excellent.
