We've been there twice this season, mostly because of the friendly and exceptional customer service. Everyone that works there has been attentive to our needs and treated us with respect. The 3 bedroom units we've experienced are spacious and well kept. We also enjoyed the hot tub, fitness center and locker room, not the largest but very clean. On the first day my eye contact was drying up and I didn't have any saline solution, so the front desk agent Cassandra gave me one of her disposable lenses to use the saline, so NICE. The manager Jessica, booking agent Cynthia, night service Brittney, and transportation/restaurant booking Victoria were all outstanding, polite and very accommodating. Safe, great place to stay.
staf is amazing, lodging is great, very short walk to the gondola, the bus stop is right outside the front door, pool and jacuzzi are very nice and the website is very user friendly. very very recommendable stay!
We were a group of 8 and we stayed in Unit 321. It was very well appointed and the kitchen had more than everything we needed. Bedding was very comfortable and the bathrooms were a good size. We could see the fireworks on NYE right out the balcony door. We could have used a bit more seating in the living room for all of us, but we made it work. The staff at the front office was awesome as was housekeeping. The boys used the hot tub every day and the sauna. The location is just steps away from the in town bus - which runs all the time - so it's very easy to get everywhere. Short walk to Gondola. Short walk to shops and restaurants as well. Highly recommend our unit.
Describe the service you experienced: We were treated very well at Vail Spa. From our initial phone conversations to our on-campus time, the folks at Vail spa were very accommodating. Tell us how you liked the room: We stayed on unit 105. This unit is a two bedroom unit that we used to sleep 6 people. Because you are a bit further out of Vail Village, Vail Spa offers more space at a better price (=value). We had two bathrooms, a laundry facility, two bedrooms, dining room, outdoor grill area specific to this unit, and a large living area with huge windows. The unit was very nice and up-to-date. Talk about the location & amenities: This was a summer time visit, so we brought our own bikes. Vail Spa offered an indoor area for us to keep our bikes safe from weather and theft. In our week there, we used our bikes, rode the public transportation conveniently located across the street, and walked into Vail Village multiple times each day. We considered the trips along Gore Creek to be a bonus not a hindrance. Say what you liked best & least: The best part of Vail Spa for my family was the pool areas (indoor and outdoor pools). The pool areas are kept up impeccably! Our kids are 8 and 18, and the pool areas were perfect for both kids, grandparents, and parents. Along with the pools, you have steam showers, saunas, and locker facilities that are up-to-date and amazing! We took advantage of those after speaking with a condo owner who recommended them to us. The only negative that needs to be mentioned has nothing to do with staff or facilities is the highway noise. We ran fans in our rooms at night to mask the noise. I would not let this discourage you from staying at Vail Spa. We would definitely stay at Vail Spa again if the correct opportunity presented itself. If you're looking for a family or couple stay that involves lots of outdoor activities this is the right place for you. You'll find amazing hiking, biking, jogging, walking, and plenty of beauty. My family has deemed Vail, Co the Disney of the mountains.…
condos are a couple of blocks from the Lionshead gondola, so there is some walking. The condos are a bit older and worn, but work nicely for ski trips. they have 2 and 3 bedroom units. the property has a pool, hot tub, ski storage and a helpful on-site staff. Unit was well supplied with gas fireplace, outdoor balcony with a grill. Too much snow to use on this trip.
