Stayed President's Week. The bottom line, we were very happy with entire experience at the Grand Hyatt Residences at Cascade Village, and Vail in general. We stayed in a Liftside Unit (A72), 4 adults, 2 teens, a toddler and infant. Plenty of room. TRUE Ski In / Ski Out condo, steps, yes steps, from the Cascade Lift and no lift lines. Skiing back was easy and got us right to the back entrance of the building. Very clean, well furnished. This unit was modern, renovated and had all the amenities. Underground garage fit a GMC Yukon XL with no problem. Checked In / Out w/ 0 issues at the Grand Hyatt Desk. We used Trip Hero to ship our gear, it was an easy process and the Hyatt retrieved our gear quickly from storage when we arrived, and took it from us when we left. Great ski room with large wooden lockers that fit a family's worth of equipment, boot drying racks / with tons of space, coffee maker and fireplace, which topped it off. The Sales Associate we worked with was extremely helpful & competent during the entire sales phase, including ALWAYS retuning calls over the course of the year while we planned, including giving us some great local restaurant recommendations, months out, which certainly helped with reservations during a holiday week. Shuttle worked fine, came about every 15 minutes, so we did have to allow for extra time when using, easy option for Lionshead and Vail Village. Hyatt had solid Apres Ski with guitar player at bar, low key. Overall, really no negatives. We would return and stay at this condominium again.

We rented a unit through the Hyatt.
It was 3 bedroom unit in the Coldstream
Building. It’s about a 5-7 minute walk from the Grand Hyatt pool. You walk on a sidewalk and along the creek to access all the amenities of the hotel. Our unit had adult bikes and we rented bikes for the kids from the hotel. It’s about 1.5 miles to Lionshead village and when you bike there it’s a lot of uphill riding. However, the way back is a nice downhill cruise. We loved playing in the creek outside the hotel and there are many access points. House keeping was great. They restocked our towels and cleaned the unit on day 3 (as stated when we booked). We had a wonderful stay! We also loved having a washer/dryer in the garage!

We are a family that like to ski and we travel each winter one or two times in a Ski Resort. Usually we go to France, it was our first time in the US for skiing.

We stayed in the unit COLDTREAM 41 and it was a total blast. The service is great, provided by the grand hyatt vail. Shuttle service, room service, ski shop, concierge all there is extremely efficient and it delivers.

This is the only Ski in - Ski out resort in Vail and it is a true value. The service provided by the ski shop is outstanding, well organized.

The unit, coldstream 41 is just top notch and perfect, we stayed 7 nights and regret it already, would definitively come back, the place is highly recomendable!

Quite simply not a 5* property. We’ve stayed all over the world at some amazing properties and this is a 3* condo at best.

The good:
1. Great shop experience made getting skis and onto the lift a breeze. Very knowledgeable and helpful staff.
2. Right at the lift so easy access to the slopes.
3. Nice cafe and bar area.

The ugly:
1. Condo was tired and very average quality. Think stains on floors, poor quality bedding, old appliances.
2. Not a single one of our requests, such as a high room, was met even though we emailed beforehand.
3. Could hear neighbors all day and including snoring during the night.
4. No point having a pool/hot tub if there is no where to change apart from in our condo which was a 5 min walk away. So we simply didn’t use it as walking in -8C in a robe was out of the question.

Having done a lot of research for this trip we were very disappointed and believe there must be better properties in Vail for the same price.

Wouldn’t stay here again.

We stayed in penthouse number 4 which is a platinum level and it was just okay. There were no napkins, paper towels, kitchen towels, dish soap, pot pad holders in the kitchen. The lighting was terrible - all the light bulbs need up leveled. The blinds in the main room and master bedroom didn't function properly so the view was obscured. Nice amount of space and the bathroom showers were great. We were there during mud season so paid a reasonable rate but otherwise would have been disappointed.

One of the nicest luxury ski resort area condos we've stayed in, but pricey. We were in the Millrace condos, right on the Gore Creek trail, which is a great place to walk (we walked to either Lionshead or central Vail each day). A couple of tips. Find the website where you can view and select an individual unit, so you know what you are booking. Based on other reviews here and prior experience elsewhere, it is hit-and-miss if you let the resort pick your condo for you. Come prepared or be ready to go shopping if you intend to cook. There were no spices or salt+pepper or aluminum foil, etc. in the unit and only 4 coffee filters.

We stayed with our friends and their two teen boys in a three bedroom condo on the fourth floor during the post Christmas holiday break. The condo (C41) was spacious, comfortable, and well appointed (furniture wise, bath towels/bedding and kitchen). There was a breakfast bar and a dining table, we ate in some nights and played games at the 6 person table. It was so homey! Chris, the manager, and the housekeeping staff were responsive and friendly. Loved the game room, pool and hot tub. There’s a ski locker room with a boot warmer, a water and hot coffee/cocoa station. Just down the hall and down the stairs is the Chair lift 20. We would ride up, no wait! Then, ski down the Cascade Way trail for a break or lunch. Best ski trip ever!

I had planned a 4 week stay on a platinum property with Hyatt and turned out I had reserved for a 3 week stay, which was my fault. The hotel helped us solve the issue and we agreed to take this golden property which was a level down with a 2 bedroom instead of 3. Being my fault, we understood and were flexible on the solution provided, we were fine! The only thing is that there was a HUGE difference between this property and the platinum (being one level apart from each other). The price does not match the value... Missing china and glassware for the amount of people admited into the property, missing appliances, old or missing kitchen utensils, TV with no cable (only through apps) and leftovers from previous guest or property owner. It was OK, but definitely not a golden one.

We booked a 4 bedroom condo. It exceeded our expectations. The views from every window was spectacular. The showers were amazing! Nicely stocked kitchen. The condos had their own private jacuzzi and pool along with a game room containing a ping pong table and a pool table,
It has all the comforts and luxury of Hyatt, but in a condo. There was a free hotel shuttle every 15 minutes that picked up right front of the condos. Also free underground parking for your vehicle. Much mire to name worth every penny!

I booked top tier condo but had several maintenance issues with the unit during our stay and did not get fixed prior to our departure. accessibility to grand Hyatt is plus, mattresses were worn out in all 3 rooms. easy check inn & check out process.

If you call the resort and/ or view online you find information. I was offered insurance which I paid for ($125). Felt it was worth it in event of cancellation.
