This hotel was in good condition and the location is super! So easy to get on the bike path and head to Lionshead or Minturn. I would give this a 5 star if the pool served a bit more of a food selection and if parking was not so expensive. We discovered you can park in the same garage for $25 a day vs the $40 the hotel charges to valet which the hotel did not inform us of.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Grand Hyatt Vail. It started with reservations, I had called the hotel to make the reservations and the person was overly helpful in making the reservation and got us the best rate without me asking. Prior to checking in we received a text, asking us to check in electronically and notified us when the room was ready. The room we were given, the air conditioner was broken and they immediately switched our room. The Concierge was very helpful in booking activities and suggestions of what to do. The Hotel itself was lovely, close to vail and lionshead village. We walked along the river path to both villages and took the shuttle. Everything was clean and enjoyable. We didn't eat at the hotel, but drinks were great. Very couples, kids and dog friendly.

For a hotel of this caliber and cost we were somewhat disappointed. Room was comfortable but small. Mountain View was more like Valley view. We had to clean up after other people before could use chairs at the pool area, used towels and trash were not cleaned by the hotel. No breakfast provided and contactless check-out was not functional when we departed. Also didn’t love the $45/day valet charge on top of the $500/night room cost. A bit of a letdown for our Anniversary trip.
