Over all great location! The place needed to be cleaned a lot better. The carpet is nasty and the walls really need to be painted. The size of the place is great for a family of 4. I would stay here again as long as the owner had it cleaned better and replaced the carpet and rugs.

This place was fine. It's old and basic, which was fine for our brief stay. The pictures online made it look much bigger and nicer than it was. The bathrooms were good size and the beds were comfortable.

Clean, cozy condominium with great views from living room/kitchen. Fantastic location - across the street from ski school, gondola and all restaurants. Unit 402 with free internet, proximity to everything met our needs during this memorable vacation.

Dear 349tamerg, We are thrilled to hear that you had a memorable vacation while staying with Destination Resorts Vail in our Vail 21 property. The location can't be beat, being a short walk to the gondola, restaurants, and even the in-town bus to transport you to/from Vail Village if this is something you wanted to do. Vail 21 recently completed...

Our family of 6 stayed in unit 306 2/25-29. Unit was booked through Vail.com. Unit is listed to sleep 6 but the unit really maxes out at 5. The reason for this is because the pull out couch is locked down. We called about this and we were told that the couch is broken but upon a closer look, it...

Dear Cliff1788, Thank you for taking the time to reach out to us in regards to your recent stay at Vail 21, managed by Destination Resorts Vail. The location of Vail 21 doesn't get much better unless you are paying for ski in/out, being 75 yards from the slopes, and next to the complimentary in town shuttle to Vail Village,...

We stayed in unit 306. I'll try to be fair with this review as best I can, but with how much this place (or any place in Vail) cost, we expected MUCH better. It was about $700 per night for this two bedroom unit, and we stayed 4 nights. This was a lot of money for my family to spend,...

This probably rates as good rather than very good but the review table doesnt provide this option. With two friends from Australia on a ski trip we had 4 nights in Unit 405 in these apartments at Lionshead. As far as location goes absolutely fantastic. I agree with the owner who owns the unit below that it doesnt get better...

The location doesn't get any better than this. Right across from the gondola, on the heated walkway in Lionshead. Units 501 and 502 both have perfect views of the slopes and are newly remodeled. 2 large bedrooms and new bathrooms. Fits 4 perfectly but could accommodate up to 6. A gem! I am an owner who hopes you will give...

I'm an owner in Vail 21, 3rd floor. 'Im sorry for those of you who wrote unhappy reviews...wish you had rented our unit. We renovated in 2006. New tiled baths, modern kitchen, hardwood floors, very cozy and charming. The Vail 21 building went through a renovation starting April 2014 ending in November 2014. Vail 21 Condos are right in Lionhead Village, in Vail. It's one of the oldest facilities in Lionhead, but old doesn't have to mean bad. There's nothing charming about the facility - really just a grey concrete condo. It could, and should, appeal to the value-oriented family, with modest expectations. There's no pool, hot tub or exercise room. Unfortunately, the...
