We stayed at the Bungalow like have for the past 6 years for one week in July. The town is very quiet and peaceful, population 75. It's a great place to get away from it all to get recharged. The Bungalow is very clean, cozy and comfortable. Walk down the street to the twin lakes

Enjoyed 2 meals there and both were excellent. The staff was friendly and made us feel welcome & special. Andy (part owner/bartender) was especially gracious and friendly. The atmosphere was laid back and friendly.

We spent two nights at the lodge and it was lovely and charming. The design and hospitality really makes you feel like you’re staying in a home away from home. The room was nice, cozy and comfortable. The porch outside our room was nice with views of the Rocky Mountains. The pr

Spent a great night here. Sat on the porch watching a thunderstorm come in. We were in the Hiker’s Room, which was cozy but spotless, and the bed was very comfy. FABULOUS breakfast- homemade raspberry cream cheese croissant, delicious coffee and all kinds of perfectly ripe fruit.

Twin Lakes is still an undiscovered lake and mountain village unlike crowded tourist spots in Colorado. If its pristine ,original Colorado your looking for with lots of outdoor activities sounds like you noticed. Thank you

My husband and I will be in Leadville for a family reunion July 20th and 21st. We have no pets just the 2 of us. I was born and raised in Leadville, and have many fond memories of Twin Lakes . I saw your Lodge on Trip advisor and thought this would be perfect since the reunion is being held at Beaver Lakes Estates where my brother lives,
The Carriage House is tiny and whilst it suited us would not be everyone’s cup of tea. However, the lodge does have some rooms which are part of the main building and look more modern but there are no self catering facilities (which you probably won’t need anyway). We loved Twin Lakes and enjoyed its solitude and would not have wanted to stay in Leadville, but if you want to be closer to the rest of your family an impersonal motel on the outskirts of Leadville may suit your needs better. On the other hand I would choose Twin Lakes every time. Hope this helps - don’t hesitate if you have any other questions you think I might be able to help with.

Can we bring out 16 foot boat? If yes, are there designated areas to park?
Thank you for your inquiry.Yes, you're boat is fine for the lakes. There is no designated parking for watercraft, however you can park it in front of the lodge during your stay here.
