This Inn has it all - location, caring staff, historical significance, attractive rooms and excellent food. We met interesting people at meals and many of them were repeat customers which says a lot for the place.

Husband had eaten lunch here many years ago and enjoyed the location. Family has been on a western vacation and this is one place he knew we would enjoy. We were only going to stay one night, but after waking up the next morning we knew we had to stay for one more before moving on. First room was a shared bath, which was fine. The Inn provides everything you need, towels, soap, shampoo, even robes for rooms with the shared bath. The staff is excellent, Andy was very helpful, especially when we decided to stay an extra day. We had to move rooms since ours was booked, but it proved no problem. The view. We arrived late the first night and the sky was amazing. I forgot there were so many stars in the night sky. We stood outside and marveled at the Milky Way above us. Found several other constellations. The next morning we went outside with our coffee, listened and watched the hummingbird at the feeders, and the other birds flying around in the fields towards the lake. I could have easily made this base camp for hiking in this area. We will be back! I included a photo from across the street.

Did a quick nights stay here last weekend so we didn't have to drive in from Denver super early -- and will definitely do it again! Andy was SUPER ACCOMODATING -- even leaving us a perfect little breakfast due to our early am departure. Sharing a bathroom was no biggie for a night, and just thought this place had a unique charm that was endearing...

We have stayed in unit #4 a couple of times and this year the private bath had been totally remodeled. This is a quiet room at end of hall. Food has never disappointed! Great access to fishing and hiking. A most friendly staff and will continue our visits in the future.

It's always great to have you stay and dine with us. Thanks, also, for pointing out the total bathroom remodel we just completed, one of several improvements we're pleased to provide for our guests while we also preserve the unique charm and character of our Inn, parts of which have existed for 140+ years.

We met friends to stayed at the Inn as part of our honeymoon for only one night on our way to go whitewater rafting and it exceeded all of our expectations. The room was clean and roomy. The people were friendly and accommodating and the food was delicious. We enjoyed sitting in the dining room watching the humming birds eat out of the feeders on the front porch. It was a wonderful stay and will go back if we are back in the area!
