We highly recommend visiting Euro Asia restaurant. The food is good and The service super. The place is clean and the cheff is good. Prices between 100-250bath per serving. Don't miss it if You are at Jomtien beach.
Ideal location 2 minute walk to the beach, located at the bottom end of jomtiem beach. Basic clean rooms at a decent price. The local baht buses run regularly along beach road for popping into pattaya central at a price of 20bht. If staying in jomtiem again and on a budget I would stay here again.
We spent a while looking at the rooms which are of a reasonable standard, agreed a weekly rate, made a booking for a specific room and left a deposit. We went back 2 days later to check in and paid enough to cover the first night. We were asked to pay for the full week but we never do this just in case there is a problem. Only then we were told that our room was gone and they were now full due to taking Bangkok people because of the floods. However, the owner told us she managed to get us a room - but this turned out to be a shabby room across the road at S P Guesthouse, and certainly one we would not have chosen. We felt we had no choice, as we had paid for the first night by now, so left our bags and went on another trawl to see if we could find alternatives for the rest of the week. Luckily we found what turned out to be a much better deal in Jomtien Hostel, on a really quiet soi. We think her story of taking in flood 'victims' was not completely true 1. Why didn't she keep our room and put the Bangkokians into SP guestthouse - which was not full? answer - SP is a grubby pit. 2. That evening there was no sign of life in any of her rooms, but the following night it was busy, so we think she had a late weekend block booking. In the end she actually did us a favour as the Soi the Euro Asia is on is pretty noisy both day and night. Getting bumped like this is something we really detest, and it wastes precious holiday time. Please don't support any establishment that thinks that this is an ok way to treat travellers. Book Jomtien Hostel, the rooms are nicer, it's a very quiet location, you can get a balcony, they are very clean, they do a great breakfast and overall it's a much better deal. Finally Jomtien Hostel kept their word, despite also taking in a lot of Bangkokians.…
