We arrived late but there was a meal ready for us. As a family of 7 we are not always the easiest to accommodate but Sophie was wonderful and arranged the bedding well in the lovely cottage. We came to La Ferme des Isles not long after it had first opened so were delighted to be able to revisit.

Lovely place - beautifully restored with extensive grounds. Great for kids, couples or parties. The shared table d'hote dinner was especially fun with beautiful food cooked by Francois and smiling service from Sophie. Thoroughly recomeded

Within an hour of arriving at La Ferme des Isles we were making plans to return with my family next year. The most beautiful scenery, rooms/suites and people make this a really special holiday experience. We travelled here with our 9 month old daughter after spending a week in a house near Bayeux- this was meant to be a bit...

Convenient for Monet's garden and a lovely place to stay and relax in the countryside. Room very comfortable and clean and we were made very welcome by Sophie and Francois. The table d'hote, an evening with everyone round the same table was especially fun, but we also enjoyed walks in the meadows and down to the river.

Even if you don't specifically fancy roosters singing in the morning, dogs and cats and ducks and geese roaming around in the garden, getting up at dawn to watch deer, you must very strongly consider staying at la Ferme des Isles. This place is simply wonderful. A farm, converted into a B&B, with very good taste, cosy rooms with lots...

We were actually booked into a gracious and grand-looking 16th century manor house nearby Fontaine sous Jouy but owing to a confusion over the booking we arrived to find no room. An alternative had been arranged, and we de-camped instead to La Ferme des Isles, a little way out of the centre of Fontaine, at Autheuil-Authouillet. It was more rustic,...

This is the second time we have stayed at la Ferme des Isles with Sophie & Francois Breban, They have restored the farmhouse and barn sympathetically, and are the most wonderful hosts. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with great attention to detail. The house is only 20 minutes away from Monet's garden at Giverny and sits in several acres...

We booked this on spec and thoroughly enjoyed our two nights. We were the only people there and were well looked after by Francois and Sophie, though I'm sure they would have treated us in the same way even if they had been full. We thoroughly enjoyed a meal with them and their friends one evening and Sophie couldn't have...

I would just like to recommend this fantastic B&B to everyone. We stayed for our second time this year and we had an even better visit this time. Our hosts Sophie and Francois are so welcoming it is like staying with really close friends. We also spent a lovely evening with the other guests and thoroughly enjoyed their company. I...
