This hotel was the perfect location across from the gondola and in the quaint town of Telluride. The service was great. The room was well appointed. It had ski lockers and boot warmers on the first floor. It is located, literally right across from the gondola. Conner is fantastic. The restaurant is great, but book in advance. We loved Andrew the bartender!!!!

I just returned yesterday from a four night stay at this wonderful hotel. Everything was perfect - the exterior and interior spaces had a charm; the suite of rooms in "The Penthouse" were immaculate, well decorated, and quiet, the location was outstanding, part of it being across the street from the lift; and the staff was very personable and accommodating.

Best location in Telluride. Walk across the street to the free Gondola, one block from ski rentals and best Happy Hour at Cosmo's! Staff were extremely attentive and helpful. Would not hesitate to stay again!

We always have a great trip to Telluride staying at Hotel Columbia. The staff is awesome, great food and location, location, location! It’s the icing on the cake for a visit to one of the best mountain towns in US.

Very convenient to access the mountain for skiing as the gondola is right across the street. We also like the location for restaurants. Everything is a 5-10 minute walk. The breakfast in the morning is a nice perk!

We were SO pleased with Hotel Columbia we extended our vacation!! The location is right across from the Gondola and the San Miquel River Trail. Its also only three blocks from the main drag- Colorado St. We can't say enough awesome things about the staff!! We saw Jack, Michael and Nelson everyday and they satisfied all our needs quickly and with an awesome attitude! We stayed for 10 days so they felt like family!! This was our first time in Telluride and we can't think of a better place to stay. And we WILL be back!! Thanks to Jack, Michael and Nelson for making our stay such a pleasant one!!

We booked in March for a stay in late July only to find out the August rate was almost $200 a night less than what we paid. Be aware that once you book a room, you are locked into that rate and any deposit is non- refundable. We felt penalized for booking early. Also, it’s run by a management company. There is really no hotel feel, more like a boarding house. That said, the desk clerks were cordial and helpful. But, they leave at 10:00 p.m. and don’t return until morning. The rooms are average considering the rates they charge. The location is very good.

Hello, Thank you for your feedback about our property. The Hotel books units based on supply and demand, and rates can fluctuate seasonally. The benefit of booking in advance is that the unit is reserved and locked in for the guest. At the same time, rates can drop if the demand is not met. Each guest is more than welcome to wait until closer to the stay and try and get a better rate, however, there is the risk of not having availability when the time to book comes. Great location. All the staff were friendly. We liked our room and location, but the AC didn’t work. It happens, but in this case they already knew and said nothing at check in. The next day when I told them about it they told me their AC was at 75% (I assume 25% of the rooms didn’t have it and it’s needed in the summer). And they were waiting on a part. He offered to let us change rooms, but why wasn’t that a check in discussion?? It was too much of a hassle to spend the time packing up our stuff and moving when checking out the next day. No screens on the windows so didn’t want to risk bugs at night. Frankly a price adjustment should have been made. Had the AC worked or they had initially addressed it or had made a price adjustment on their own initiative the review rating would have been higher.…

So many positives about Hotel Columbia #41: Hotel could not be in a better location. Walking distance to shops, restaurants and the River walkway. #41 has beautiful windows, balcony off the bedroom, huge shower in large bathroom. Loved the location next to the gondola. Breakfast was very good especially the scones. Valet parking went smooth and with advance notice our car was outside ready for our morning departure. Mike at the front desk was great! Two negatives: The king bed is against the wall on one side making it challenging to get in and out. The sheets were old and need replacing. Overall highly recommend and would return to #41.
