The location of the inn is excellent - close to the main street. However, you have to be aware of a few things. There is no air conditioning. We were there in the summer, and it was a trick to open the French doors. Also, one of the blinds was broken. The room did have a very small fan, but...

We stayed in #4 upstairs and booked through a company in Telluride which charges a fee, though I still felt that the room was a fair deal around $135 after all taxes. The rooms are finished in a higher quality than most hotel rooms and our experience was pretty quiet. It was the 4th of July week so there was...

You can't beat the location but we probably wouldn't stay there again. There is no AC and our room was hot! The jacuzzi was 6 inches outside of our window so if you wanted to leave your windows open at night you had to listen to people in the jacuzzi or listen to the loud noises it makes that sounds...

We stayed in condo #2 at the Montana Placer Inn over the first weekend in June. We did use the amazingly low Groupon rate so the price definitely helped with our positive experience. The location is great - you can walk to anyplace in town and have numerous restaurants within a few blocks. It's convenient to the free gondola that...

We stayed at condo #5 during a festival weekend in early June as part of a Groupon deal. Room has a king bed with vaulted ceilings which permits lots of natural light through the large north- and south-facing windows. The room was comfortablly sized for the two of us and includes a small, private balcony. It is conveniently located downtown...

Stayed in condo #1 at Montana Placer Inn. Very quaint and extremely close to either walking to main street or walking to the FREE gondola. Yes FREE! The 2 floor condo is very beautiful and spacious. Beautiful king size bed with tv upstairs, 1/2 bath and skylight windows. Please note that there is no AC but due to the high...

We got an amazing rate for two nights from a Groupon, so part of our positive experience was how low the price was. But it was really a great place. The room was very tastefully appointed, with fine attention to detail (the bathroom tiling was beautiful). The service was great, though invisible. We simply called to say we had arrived,...

We stayed in room #5 and there was a king bed, raised ceilings (really high!) great lighting, not the best view in Telluride but still very nice. Access to the hot tub 24/7. Minimal in the way of amenities, no full kitchen (does have microwave, mini fridge, an assortment of plates, cups, cutlery.) Note: #5 came with a coffee maker...

“We had unit 1, which is their largest rental. There were only 3 of us--a couple and a friend--and it worked out fine. It would be good for a family.”

“There are only 6 rooms in the hotel, 5 is a queen and on an upper floor. Our balcony doors did not seem to lock so the upper floor made us feel a little better about not being able to lock those doors.”
