This hotel was wonderful. We drove all the way in from Texas and we were best happy. Heated indoor pool. Make sure you get the breakfast vouchers at the front desk for $10. Shuttle service to the mountain and close to downtown shops. We will be back!

This hotel is OK to stay cheaply and the staff was great, however, I will not return, the room were dated and it was just not as upscale as I would expect in steamboat. again, this is not a bad review but you get what you pay for

We appreciate your review and thank you for recognizing our great staff. I am sorry we didn't show you one of our newly remodeled rooms, you might like for your return. We are using the next four offseasons to refurbish all rooms to Holiday Inn's latest standards. We hope to welcome you again in the future.

The room was great -- comfy beds, very clean. But this is one of the noisiest hotel rooms I've ever stayed in. I don't know if the doors are paper thin, or what the problem was, but all night long I could every word, every step in the hallway. Thank God I brought ear plugs.

Thank you for your review. We are sorry that we did not meet your needs. We have replaced all door seals in the newly remodeled hallway to avoid noise complaints in the future. We have not heard of water temperature issues, so that was new to us and we apologize, that should not happen, we agree. We will continue to review any noise comments to assure we have addressed the issues. We hope to welcome you again in the future.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel the second week of February for a ski vacation. The hotel is located on the south end of town, but they do provide a free shuttle with a very friendly driver to take you to the slopes and pick you back up. The shuttle runs every 15 minutes

You two choices in Steamboat Springs to enjoy the Hot Mineral Springs. The Old Town Hot Springs, a health and recreation center with hot springs pools, water slides, and a workout facility, on Lincoln and near 3rd Street. That is about 3 miles from the Holiday Inn. Or the natural hot springs at Strawberry Park which is one of Steamboat's many natural treasures. The Strawberry Park Hot Springs, located about 15 miles from the Holiday Inn but requires a vehicle that can drive on snowy/muddy roads, as the last mile to it is not paved. We hope to welcome you soon. Barbara Robinson, GM

How far of a ride is it to Strawberry Springs?

Do you have any events for New Year's Eve? If not, can you recommend something? Thanks.
The only event I could assist you with is the New Year’s Eve Torchlight Parade and Fireworks display in the Steamboat Ski Area. Most of the specific events around New Year's Eve change every year. As an example though, I can tell you about some of the events that occurred on the 2015/2016 celebration. -There was an event at the Sheraton that had: live entertainment with DJ Trevor Potter, a magician providing table-side illusions, and holiday crafts for the kids. -Tera Johnson and The Sounds of Soul performed at the Grand, outside of their restaurant (The Cabin). - Stand-up Comedian Sam Tallent had a show at the chief theater. -Downtown Steamboat had multiple locations with live music Fortunately, I am sure you will have no trouble finding some amazing things to do on your trip. Also, specifically relating to the Holiday Inn, the staff has a list of all of the events happening in Steamboat over the course of the week (updated every week). So it never hurts to check with one of the guest service representatives. I hope this helps and we look forward to your visit!

What exactly is your pet policy? Weight limit for a dog? Additional fees?
We allow dogs only, we have no weight restriction per se. To assure enjoyment for all guests, dogs may not be left alone in the room, must be leashed when on property. Dogs need to be registered at check-in. The fee for dogs, is $25 per night for a room, and $35 per night for a suite. Owner's are responsible for any damage. The second floor and pool court yard are restricted for pets. Steamboat is very dog friendly and there are many areas from the hotel to walk the dogs.
