Drove out from Denver for the weekend and overall enjoyed our stay. Dispense with the negatives: Below 50 degrees at night in late July and that might be too cold for some. Spent the 3 day weekend at Hahn's Peak camprground with the family. Was able to use our canoe and had a great time. The campground was well maintained. We also caught a ton of fish and plan on returning in the future.

Beautiful campground, but no electricity. Not a problem for us tent campers who go camping to get away from electricity and noise, but apparently a problem for others who need to operate their many gadgets and "home on wheels." The pop-up next to us was noisy with dogs, kids, and a generator that was on at 7:30 am and also... More

This campground is in a lovely area with fishing, hiking, cycling, and four wheeling. There are two loops, the lower one is nearer to the lake. It's very popular with many pretty, level sites suitable for motorhomes. The upper loop where we stayed is just as nice. We had a big, level site with a great view of the surrounding... More
