Location, location! Fabulous resort. Wonderful people!
If you like to relax and do nothing or bike, raft, hike and shop, Steamboat has it for you. The summer weather was fantastic. Trappeurs Crossing was beautifully maintained, peaceful, quiet and relaxing.

This is our second year staying at Trappeur’s Crossing Champagne Lodge, this year we were in unit 3101, first floor. Normally I like being up higher but there are some benefits to being on the first floor like you don’t have to use the elevator, so it’s a quick walk outside to the shuttles. The shuttles to and from the gondola & in to town are entirely FREE and are very fast, we never waited more than 5 to 10 minutes. What I loved about these condos is the layout, we had a two bedroom two bath unit, there was a king bed in the master and two twins in the second bedroom for our kids. Our bed was super comfortable and had premium super soft bedding. The kitchen is well-equipped for cooking meals. You’ll be to the base of the gondola in 5 minutes. It gets a little warm in the condo so just open a window. The only negatives are: the Jacuzzi tub should come with directions. We thought we had it turned it off and a few hours later it randomly came back on. Also there’s no daily maid service. Overall though a great condo, nicely furnished and comfortable. We’ll be back!
ahadaway99, thank you for taking time to submit a review regarding your stay. We are pleased you had such a great time and that 3101 accommodated you and your party so well. It sounds like we are missing instructions for the jacuzzi tub, so we will ensure those are replaced. We would love to welcome you back in the future, and are optimistic that we will be able to offer more services such as cleaning due to restrictions from the pandemic reducing.

Clean and convenient. Friendly and helpful staff!
Our unit was 1210 and was conveniently located in the resort. The unit was clean and well sanitized upon arrival. We did not have any cleaning service (probably due to covid), but had trash/recycling service daily. The lockers to store skis and gear were great to control clutter. Onsite complimentary laundry facilities were great and 2 boxes of powder laundry detergent were provided. We took advantage of the jacuzzies and pool as well as the fire pit. The property is well maintained and the staff is super friendly and helpful. The shuttle service to the gondola was perfect for our group. And the on demand shuttle service to literally anywhere around town or to downtown was perfect for us!
239loria, thank you for taking time to submit a review about your stay. We are grateful you chose to stay with us and pleased you had such a good time! We hope to see you again in the future especially with less restrictions due to the pandemic.

Our stay was in the Emerald Lodge building. Our Unit 5114 was immaculate and had everything - great bedding, washer, dryer, grill, hot tub and awesome fireplace. It was convenient to the ski mountain as well as the town. Great hiking and gorgeous scenery everywhere!!! Highly recommend!

A great place for families and to meet up with friends. Pools were dated very nice and well-maintained. Check in process was really easy. Less than a mile from base facilities and close to trails. Getting in and out of the garage was easy. A fun place to visit.

Plenty of room for three couples. Convenient and prompt shuttle service took us to the base of the ski area, and on demand wherever we needed to go in Steamboat. Our unit was well maintained and exactly as described. Check in was easy, and the check in staff were very helpful.

Very nice property excellent location. Property itself needs updating. The unit was just fine it had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. They transport you where you need to go. There are ample hot tubs They host a wonderful apres ski on Wednesdays. The staff are very friendly. I would recommend this property for any type of ski trip.

We stayed on 3rd floor of Timberline building (1BR) and loved the spacious, clean condo with incredible views of the mountain. I loved drinking coffee in the morning and enjoying the view before we headed out. The unit was perfect for the two of us and would have been plenty of space for us to bring our kids next time with the pull out sofa. Having a full kitchen was so convenient for cooking breakfast/dinner and prepping lunch for us to take to the mountain. Saved a lot of money on eating out!! The hot tubs were lovely- we always choose a place with good hot tubs for our ski trips and these did not disappoint:) The unit had ski lockers in the hallway but we ended up keeping our skis/snowboard at the mountain each night. The resort is an easy walk to the base area- even doable in ski boots but the mountain shuttle was so convenient we just hopped on that in the morning. But we walked if in regular shoes when we went to dinner etc. And the on demand shuttle service was incredible. They utilize an app and you can request a ride to/from anywhere around base or in town. It was so nice so we could run to the grocery store our first night there and used it to go out to eat in Steamboat Springs area. Some restaurants in walking distance as well as a small market that had beer/wine, some groceries etc. But for our full grocery trip I'm glad we took the shuttle about 7 minutes away tot he Safeway- more of a full size grocery store. Just be prepared to carry all of your groceries back on the shuttle:) We will definitely look to stay here again if we come back to Steamboat!

Great help from reservations and front desk. Condo is large 2 bedroom with soaring ceiling in main area to really feel spacious. Furniture nice...a bit softened from wear/age is my guess. Master bed is very soft, but guest bed is firm like new. Each room has every convenience needed. For price and quality, this is a 5* value. Only caution...condo looks over Walnut Creek Rd which is surprisingly busy at all times of the night. A lot of traffic noise.
