The Lodge at Steamboat is a condominium resort property conveniently located just a few blocks from the base of the Steamboat Ski Area. The property offers 2 and 3 bedroom options. Each condo features fully equipped kitchens, living areas with gas fireplaces, balconies or patios for enjoying the fresh mountain air, and free WiFi. The Lodge features an on-site front desk in the clubhouse located at the entrance to the property. The clubhouse is a great place to gather around the fire and tell stories of the adventures of the day, or a place to meet for morning coffee before grabbing a shuttle to the mountain in the winter. There is also a business center and indoor hot tub conveniently located adjacent to the front desk area. The property also boasts an outdoor heated pool, BBQ areas and 4 outdoor hot tubs. Parking is free, so bring your vehicle or leave the driving to us and use our winter shuttle service to get around.
I stayed at the Lodge at Steamboat and enjoyed my time there. Great facility that is run by a great group of people. I left a power supply in my condo and they went above and beyond to return it to me. Plus the Vacasa shuttle service was excellent. Short waits after calling for a lift. Drivers were excellent and they could take me everywhere I needed to go. Check them out and visit.

Not ski-in/ski-out, but is a decent 2 bdrm/2 bath rental that is walking distance to the main Steamboat gondola. Vacasa didn’t tell us it was outdated and priced it like a more updated model. Shag carpets, poorly lit (no overhead but only antique lamps that weren’t functioning). Master bed had a strangely super high bed (my wife needed a chair to get in). Clearly never been updated by the owners. Not even a Bluetooth stereo system - one boom box for CDs and cassette tapes. Return to the Eighties. Location is nice but I wouldn’t overpay.

Stayed in unit A101 as a group of 6 for 5 nights (7 for 2 of those nights). It was the closest unit to the gondola and an easy walk from anywhere at the property. The kitchen was stocked with all the tools you might need (I especially appreciated the crock pot) and even had some salt/pepper/herbs for cooking, though we had packed our own. The hot tub reservations worked out great, although some people definitely just let themselves in without one and once just moved to the other tub when it was our turn. Having a washer/dryer in-unit was especially convenient because we didn't get separate hot tub towels, and when we asked at the front desk, the woman was only able to find 2 more towels for us. Parking was tight on the weekend, but we were able to get our 2 cars parked without issue. The beds were comfortable, the showers had good water pressure, and the living area was big enough for all of us. We would definitely return.…

One of the best family values in Steamboat. Located just across the street from the gondola, it is an easy walk to the lift and a direct ski down to the street at the end of the day. The condos are large and well maintained, the the check-in/out process is incredibly easy and friendly. For the price, you cannot beat this

We stayed in B201. Loved this Condo. Nicely updated. The staff is great, and really enjoyed the base area of the Ski Resort. The pool was recently updated, and there are several hottubs on the property...

Rented a condo for 4 days for three of our family's annual gathering. Pros - ample parking, pool for the kids, close to the free steamboat bus. Cons - none of the units have air conditioning, most of the mountain view is blocked by the newer property built directly in front of it, a little noisy with neighbors above and below.

I rarely do a review but in this case, it needs to be done to warn others not to stay in unit E102 at The Lodge at Steamboat. It literally has not been updated since about 1980's, including the furniture, fixtures, and carpet. We weren't expecting or needing fancy or completely updated; we were going to be on the mountain most of our time there. But this was beyond that. The carpet was buckled up in several places. The comforter in master bedroom was disgusting; smelled and had multiple holes. The shower barely drained, so you stood in dirty water the whole time. The shower "curtain" was a cheap dirty liner that was ripped and way too long. That would literally be like $5 to replace to at least make it cleaner looking, and like someone cared about the place. The plaster/drywall in one corner of bathroom is crumbling. You can barely get in/out of the bathroom if you try to close the door, it is so small. Positives for this property - The shuttle service to/from town was great, and the proximity to the mountain was also good. Overall, our trip was a great experience, but The Lodge at Steamboat should be embarrassed to have a unit that is so dirty and ill-maintained.…

Thank you so much for your honest feedback of E102 at the Lodge. It is definitely a condo that has not done much upgrading since the property was built and it is less expensive than most other condos at the Lodge. We have shared your feedback with the owner of the condo and they are actually in the process of replacing the carpet and purchasing new bedding and a new shower curtain has already been acquired. Our maintenance team is taking a look at the slow drains and should have the issue resolved ASAP. We are glad you enjoyed the location of the property and the great shuttle service. We hope that in the future, if you are planning a trip to Steamboat you will give the Lodge a second chance. Give us a call and we can help you find a more updated condo at the property and give you a great deal. Don't hesitate to reach out. Rebecca Duryea General Manager 970-879-6000

We had a two bedroom two bathroom apartment in the A block which is super convenient. We find the apartment warm, spacious, and delightful. It was a joy to spend pretty much all our non-skiing time there. The bedrooms have lots of storage space. Kitchen is fully equipped to cook dinners for everyone. WiFi works great. Lots of outlets to recharge our devices. Check-in was a breeze. We didn't rent a car so the shuttle service to get grocery was amazingly helpful. An easy 10 minute walk gets you to the gondola. The shared jacuzzi is wonderful be sure to bring swim wear!

When we arrived on Saturday at 4pm, our room was not ready (ie cleaned). After travelling all day, this was incredibly frustrating. The associate who was working the desk (Allison) was condescending when I suggested that perhaps we could get access to the room briefly to use the shower, change a child's diaper, and take a quick stock of things we would need from the grocery store. She said, if we did so we would be forfeiting any room cleaning for the stay. I felt this was rigid. She then asked me if I had ever worked in hospitality, suggesting that I did not know how things "worked" Later her manager apologized (Allison did not ever appologize). The manager tried to fix itby calling to see if there was anything we needed. about 2 days into our stay. I told her the room was not stocked with kitchen trash bags, and she said she would have some sent up. IT never happened. I feel that this property is porrly managed by either too few housekeeping staff, and some somewhat unprofessional front desk staff. Also, no elevator for the 3rd floor room, and relatively old looking room amenities. I'd say this property did not make me feel like I was having a nice ski vacation, but that Iwas trying to save money. I gave them 2 stars instead of one, because the prices were pretty good, but my suggestion would be to find an alternate place to stay , as this property is not a value…

Thank you for taking the time to send us a review of your recent stay at the Lodge. Let me begin by apologizing for your experience at check in as well as the lack of follow through on the trash bags. It was a very busy day and we usually have condos ready by 4pm. I hope that you and your family still enjoyed the skiing and gift certificate we gave you for a dinner. Rebecca Duryea, General Manager 970-879-6000

We stayed at the Lodge as part of a ski club. It is extremely convenient to the base of the mountain and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The shuttle service was great, responsive, convenient! The condo we stayed in (D102), however, was shabby and nothing like the lovely photos online! The master bath was falling apart, the tub stained, and the whole place was not very clean and quite dingy. The owners clearly don’t really care. Towels were changed only once during the entire week, and we were expected to take care of everything else. It’s worth making sure where you’ll stay and getting a look at the unit you’ll be getting, if possible. The Lodge was disappointing.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We are glad you enjoyed the location, shuttle service and that our staff was friendly and helpful. The Lodge is a condominium resort property and every condo is individually owned which means decor, furnishings and bedding all vary. We appreciate your comments regarding D102 and will share them with the owner of the condo. We do have photos and descriptions for each individual condo in our rental pool on our website and you can book specific condos online. It is not a hotel property and our cleaning services depend on what your group paid for, all guests are able to upgrade services upon arrival. We hope that if you ever find yourself planning another trip to Steamboat, you reach out to us and give the Lodge a second chance.
