We stayed in the Plaza Unit 702. First of all, the complex is located right off of the main base area of Steamboat Resort. It was very easy to find and had complimentary parking in a very safe underground garage. There seemed to be ample parking. The view from our unit was right out to the slopes, and all you have to do is take the elevator downstairs and walk out to ski. Our unit had everything you could want in a rental - all the necessary cookware to cook most meals (even some unexpected extras like a panini maker, blender, and crock pot), complimentary laundry, dishwasher detergent, coffee filters and coffee for our first pot, comfy beds, a nice gas fireplace, large dining room table with 6 seats and a breakfast bar with 8 more seats. We didn't use the TVs but they had 2. I loved that there was a ski closet next to each unit to keep all of our gear and the mudroom was perfect for storing our boots, helmets and gloves. The pool and hot tub were great too. The front desk was very helpful and showed us how to get to the plaza when we checked in. I have absolutely no complaints! Such a beautiful condo and complex.

We are repeat customers at Torian Plum. We had stayed here two years ago and loved every minute of our stay. Therefore we booked a condo again for our 2022 ski trip and convinced our family to also stay here for the week (they booked two additional condos). Unfortunately we were not as happy this time with our condominium. We stayed in condo 512 and felt as though the room was not worth the amount we had paid. First off, the washer AND the dryer did not work. I had packed lightly knowing that I had access to a washer/dryer and it was very difficult not having a working one in the room. The front desk staff was accommodating and provided me with vacant room keys to use other washer/dryers however it was inconvenient to pack up all of the gross clothes and take them to a room on another floor (reminded me of college where I had to set a timer to go downstairs and move the clothes). I also had to take a call and I stepped out onto the back patio. As I grabbed the handle, the handle literally fell off! Maintenance did show up and fixed it quickly. However it shows how these rooms are not being kept up. We had a three bedroom/three bath. One of the toilets barely flushed. Every time a kid used it (minimal use of toilet paper) the water would back up to the rim of the toilet and it took a long time for the water the drain. Next, there was plastic wrap on the smoke detector in the master bedroom… very odd. Next, the fans in one of the rooms did not work. My family member tried to turn it off and it did not turn off. Next, the TV was awful. Okay, it’s small, no big deal.. and in a weird place… okay. However, it was basically impossible to use. We tried to find a football game and it was not possible. Lastly, we have historically relied on the shuttle service provided when you book at torian plum. This time the shuttle service was not as user friendly. We came with a large group and had reservations at various restaurants. We would try and call ahead of time to coordinate a shuttle the day of. A few times, the dispatcher would work with us. However on one particular night we needed a ride from torian plum to the base. Yes, it’s not far, however we were traveling with an older gentleman who could not walk the ramp/stairs to the base. The shuttle service basically told us too bad and that we needed to walk to the base. I understand that they didn’t want to take up a shuttle for such a short drive but we wanted this person to feel included and we were all going to ride to the base together and get dropped off at the transit center which would have been walkable by our family member that struggled to walk. Due to the difficulty and frustration with the shuttle, our family member missed out on dinner. Note- this was a dispatch issue. The shuttle drivers were amazing and extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Anyways, the quality has declined. Not sure if we will book here again.

On the one hand, this venue was a superb place to host our family reunion. We had nine of us staying in connected condos on the 5th floor. We had a great view, plenty of room to spread out and kitchens which were stocked well with most needed utensils and cookware. The exercise room is quite small but has free weights. The pool and hot tub were a nice diversion. The condo unit is situated in the middle of the resort, so you have easy access to the ski area. My biggest issue is that we had reserved a stand-alone home through AirBnB which was owned by Vacasa, the same company that runs this place. They gave us a couple of options & I chose Torian Plum because it had the most space. Vacasa gave me an initial discounted price but I unfortunately did not receive the full refund. They did work with me and referred me to AirBnB to get the rest of the refund, but AirBnB claims it's Vacasa that owes me. Unfortunate ending to our great stay at Torian Plum.

We stayed in unit 507 with great views. The unit was one bedroom with a comfy king size bed. The bathroom was small, but adequate. There is a gas fireplace on a timer. There is a full kitchen. There is a ski locker outside the condo. Nothing on the slopes. You have to carry equipment to your room. The building is slope slide. Free parking underground. Super friendly front desk staff. Easy walk to everything. There is a pullout couch in the living room. The sliding doors in the master closet and going into the bathroom were either broken or not easy to slide. The unit is a little dated. There is a heated outdoor pool with 3 nice hot tubs. You have to walk outdoors to get there. There are robes in each unit and towels poolside. Free shuttle into town. Overall very good experience!!

The night manager accosted me when I asked for a late check out for my 78 year old parents. He was agitated by my offering to even pay and got heated quickly. I admittedly made the mistake of saying FU but then he came around the desk at me and told me "we could leave now". I felt threatened and scared! It was him and two male workers and this treatment was so shocking and scary. When I said 10am checkout is early he said you must not travel much. Unacceptable behavior and would he have done that to a man?! So be warned, they kick you out at 10am- so forget skiing the last day. We paid $4400 for 7 days but 2 were short days. Also they had the cleaning woman there at our door right at 10am... really? Their solution is they offer to "store your bags" so you can ski and enjoy your last day - but when my fiancee went to do so they wanted to just leave them in the lobby- not secured- and said "someone is always at the desk"... WOW. Bad experience- and really sad as we wanted to love it. I felt threatened and it ruined our last 24 hours there.

We made reservations at the last minute and we were very fortunate to pick the Torina Plum. The unit we rented was 504. It was large, well furnished, and had a small patio overlooking the base of the mountain. The beds were very comfortable. It was well worth the money!

Excellent ski- in and out. Easy walk to gondola. Several good restaurants very close. Very nice amenities, 3 hot tubs, swimming pool, ski locker right inside slope side entrance, bath robes supplied. The units themselves are privately owned. Therefore the styles and ages are highly variable. For example, unit 515 has many locked closets making it almost impossible to unpack your luggage.

Our family has skied many places around the world and this is our favourite yet. We like space and a self contained set up rather than hotel type accomodation and we want to be close to the slopes. Torian Plum has it all. We had condo 703. Really well set up 2 bedder with great kitchen, its own laundry, ski locker and access to the hot tubs which is required after a day on the slopes. Restaurants and bars close by and a free shuttle service as well for trips to town. Staff super helpful also.

We rated them 4/5 only because we came in the midst of construction and rehab. The management took over less than 4 months earlier. The location is within walking distance to restaurants and shopping. The rooms are pleasant and I believe they all view the slopes. The gondola and chairs are just a hop skip and jump from your condo. Ours had a nice kitchen, small washer dryer and cozy fireplace. A hot tub and sauna are available for guests along with covered parking.
