For somebody to say this place is trashy and hasn't seen anyone lift a finger is a little beyond me... I do nothing but see people around here fixing this fixing that... yeah plumbing may have its days but this is a campground, a facility used for summer enjoyment, excuse them if they cant meet your corporate vision of what...

The review from Sept 20, 2014 was made prior to KOA taking over the campground in Oct and new manager, Jim M. coming in. I moved here in late Nov to camp in one of the cabins for winter. Since that time I have personally only seen the new manager plow snow. Nothing else, except walk him dog. We have...

My family and I really enjoyed our stay here. The showers were clean and well kept, the staff was friendly and helpful we had a mechanical problem with our rv and the staff made one call and we were able to find mechanical help that came to the park. The grounds are clean. The rv park is on a major...

We also stayed here recently and were so disappointed with the lack of property maintenance. It was soooo muddy where we pulled in our camper. A little pea gravel goes a long way! They did nothing to mitigate the problem. The bathrooms were FILTHY - cleaned once/day which was definitely not enough for the amount of people staying there. Very...

We stayed at the campground for 4 nights over Labor Day weekend. It had rained quite a bit the day before we arrived and the mud holes were abundant.. I understand that the rain was not the responsibility of the campground, but the many holes welcoming water were their responsibility. A few truck loads of gravel would have done wonders...

We have camped several times in the Steamboat area in tents and in our 15ft trailer. Steamboat Campground looked great for families, with all the amenities and location. These "extras" however were overpriced and all were poorly maintained. The sites were also needing maintenance-and even though we had not had flooding rains, all sites near the river banks were not...

We stayed in a cabin with a kitchenette and half bath. Upon arrival, I was disappointed that the cabin, while very picturesque, was right on the noisy highway. Upon entering, the cabin, we were assaulted by the stench of Pinesol cleaner that eventually gave way to just a lived in smell. Not exactly fresh. I strongly suggest you bring all...

We pulled into this campground and were given their "last available" full-hookup site. The site was so muddy, we couldn't put our camper in it. There was mud everywhere. This campground should invest in some gravel for their roads and sites. We quickly returned to the office for a full refund. I would most definitely not recommend this place.

My friends and I take a trip from the other side of the pass ( Summit County) each year. We camp on the river ( Site 34 is great), tube, relax, cook out, play putt putt, play Frisbee and catch some free music in Steamboat each summer in town. The little cute store is so fun to check out when...

DON'T STAY HERE!! While initially this place appeared suitable for our 2 night stay, we had an unexpected issue arise - our RV leaked during a heavy rainstorm causing an electrical short. I was unwilling to take the risk of troubleshooting this during the rain. With my 2 little girls, ages 6 and 3, along with my aging parents in...
