Great little fishing spot! Friendly staff, Bob checked us in and was v helpful. We had a great pull through site w grass and a fire pit. Definitely will come back. A bit pricey tho!! Stayed two nights instead of one as originally planned. Pretty campground.

We had a very good visit at this Steamboat KOA. Clean bathrooms, VERY accommodating staff, nice pool, pleasant surroundings and GREAT bus service into town. A little expensive but the money we saved on transportation into town made up for it.

This place was filthy. I had to do laundry here and the laundry room was so filthy it was disgusting. They have many people working at this KOA but I don't know what they're doing all day. Certainly not cleaning up the place. Also, the campsites were not at all private. This is the kind of place that charges a...

We called at ask about space around 4:00 and the lady on the phone said yes but they close at 5pm. I told her we would be there in less than 10 mins and she said ok she would wait for us. Wait for us? If you don't close until 5pm why would you have to wait for us? She...

We spent $47.14 for one night at this property. Check-in / check-out: quick and easy, and a friendly gentleman drove a golf cart before us to show us our tent site (#112). The camp store looked very well stocked. The lady who checked us in was cheery and obviously eager to please. Site 112: Spacious, soft and grassy (though probably...

We really enjoyed our stay at the Steamboat KOA. The staff was very friendly and accommodating! We even extended our stay. Our campsite by the river was amazing. The bathrooms and showers were clean. The campground was very well maintained. They did mention that they had a bear that has been hanging around the garbage. We also saw two cute...

We booked via the 800 number and were told we had a site large enough for a 45 ft RV with 3 slide outs. Site 56 (back-in, full hook up). The back in sites are NARROW. Our largest slide out did not work, lucky for your neighbors! The sites are so narrow we could not put our awning all the...

We have camped in Steamboat Springs on three different occasions. Each time at the Steamboat RV Park. On those occasions we would characterize the park as adequate because it was old and had a minimum of amenities. If it rained the water would collect around the coach and made a rather muddy situation. This is the only campground unless you...

Worst KOA in the country. Filthy cabins and restrooms. Wood that would char but not burn. Fire pits with no way for air to flow. Uncaring staff. All the reasons I've come to love KOA and choose them above other campsite are right out the window at this place. This is a prime example of what a KOA shouldn't be....

Way over priced, dust and mud, heavy road traffic. This is more of trailer park for poor people. Looks have construction workers and such living out of their dilapidated RVs. Says free cable, but only for premium sites. Surprised they are allowed to keep the KOA name. This park will of course have a real problem during wet conditions. Unpaved...

“If it's warm outside, opt for a Single cabin next to the river. The restrooms are near enough and it's cooler by the river.”
